This is a great little stool for my 3 year old grandson to use for reaching the faucet in the kitchen and bathrooms.

With four kids (the oldest being 4 yo), we have five of these throughout the house. Yes, it's most commonly used in the bathrooms for the toilet and sink but the kids also use this in our kitchen and bedrooms. In fact, we know we need more when we see them carry these around from room to room!Why do we keep buying these?-HEIGHT-Seems to be the perfect height to ensure a balance of safety and function. My 36" 4 yo can reach sink hardware easily. My 28" 2 yo can use it to reach the water in the sink.-STURDINESS-These are incredibly sturdy. After years of regular use, they still look brand new and have not deteriorated in any way. Unlike another review I read, I find it hard to tip these over. You have to try to tip them over or be very careless (if the kids don't place their entire feet on the step). These are meant for kids but can easily support me (170 lb).-SAFETY-With rubber grips on the feet, they don't move around at all on tile, hardwood, or carpet. Not only do they have rubber on the feet but the step is also rubberized. My kids have never slipped on these and they use them daily. Additionally, all corners are rounded.-DESIGN-They do not look as nice as wooden steps in my opinion but since they are plastic, they are easy to clean. All of ours are white and none of them have discolored. They look at home as part of a toddler's bathroom but look a little out of place in other rooms of the house.-RECOMMENDATION-All my kids love these, including our 18-month old climber. We continue to buy these when we need more steps. Buy and sleep well knowing you have safe, functional step that will easily outlast your child's needs.

I gave my first to a friend who needed a step to get into bed. It may be my imagination, but this one seems slightly smaller. It still does the job. Non skip for the floor and my feet.

This stool is definitely sturdy and I feel like it’ll hold up awhile, especially to a toddler but the top of the stool has a pattern engraved into it that hurts the bottom of my child’s feet to stand on. It’s definitely a grippy material, I just wish the pattern on top was a bit smoother. My daughter refuses to stand on the stool for more than a few minutes barefoot (like when helping in the kitchen) so we’ve had to come up with alternative means with is frustrating. This may be better suited solely for potty training rather than used as a kitchen helper.

Bought this step stool over the oxo because the oxo is made in China. This one is made in Sweden. It's strong, sturdy and attractive. We have been using this to help us bottle feed little one. The NICU we were at used these exclusively. We love the green color over the white. Happy with purchase.

I like the sturdiness of the stool but it is not worth the expense I paid for it. I bought it to potty train my daughter who is tiny for a two year old and she can’t get up on the potty with it. I guess I should’ve gotten a stool with two steps. I figure this is important to note this for parents wondering if it’s going to work for a smaller than average child. This will also not work for her to get to the sink to wash her hands. We ended up using it to sit on when giving her a bath which says a lot for it’s sturdiness. It’s cute and colorful but not worth the buy for what I needed it for. The more average sized kids (2 years and up) may be able to utilize it more to their advantage.

I bought this and it DOES slip on my shiny tiles. If your tiles have a rough texture, you might have better luck. On my tiles, it's dangerous without supervision/intervention. I have to put my foot on it to keep it from moving when my toddler steps on it to wash her hands. I bought this one for under the sink and the curved Jolly Jumber one for under the toilet and the other one doesn't slip at all but this BabyBjorn one does. Got it on sale for $10 (shipped from/sold by Amazon.ca, not a merchant).

My daughter uses this stool daily! At 1.5 years she is still too small to stand and reach the sink with it but she sits on it while brushing her teeth and carries it all over the house to help her climb up onto furniture she can't quite reach. As usual with Baby Bjorn products, they colours and designs are beautiful and the quality is fantastic! We got it to match the Baby Bjorn potty for the kids bathroom and they look so cute together! It's very sturdy, will not slide on any type of flooring and the grip on the top is fantastic for when they do stand on it. Don't waste $$ on any others, if it's something you'll have for years this one is well worth it!

I am not happy paying this much for a plastic stool.But I would buy this one again if I needed more. It stays where you put it, the texture on the top doesn't allow for my daughter's feet to slip, it's the right height for her to use the toilet by herself, lightweight for her to carry around. Not as ugly as others I've seen.We also have two of their potty and they are great too.

Our little guy was trying to stand on his potty to get to the sink, so we knew it was time for a stool. After searching and reading many reviews, we decided to go with this one and couldn’t be happier. It’s very sturdy, doesn’t slide around on our slippery floors, the top is grippy, and it matches his potty. We love both pieces, highly recommend!

Grsat stool. Doesnt slip, light weight and our toddler uses to sit on and as a step stool for bird watching.we love it and appreciate the quality.
