Leonidas Belgian Chocolates1.50 lb Milk Chocolates Assortment

Pricey, but these are incredible. I ordered the 2lb. box and there were at least 12 different flavors, all of which were delicious. Banana cream, caramel, hazelnut cream, chocolate nougat, coconut cream etc... Unlike other boxes of assorted chocolates there wasn't a single flavor that wasn't well balanced and delicious. Along with being the best chocolates I have ever tasted the packaging was very nicely done. It was nicely gift wrapped as shown with the box encased in a styrofoam cooler of sorts. I'd be apprehensive about ordering these in the warmer months for fear of melting, but they arrived (this winter) in excellent condition.

I’ve yet to find another chocolatier which can top the quality and taste of Leonidas chocolates, but it seems whomever is packing the boxes only packs a few of the many, many types of chocolates they make. A full 1/2+ of my box of milk chocolate “mix” was comprised of wrapped pralines. Don’t get me wrong, the pralines are yummy, as all of their products, but if I’d wanted that many pralines, I’d have purchased pralines specifically. Leonidas nicely includes a beautiful, 10 page guide to all their scrumptious goodies, yet 1/2 of my 1.5 lb box was made up of only three types.I’m very, very disappointed.

Box was clawed open through box, styrofoam, and into the candy box. I cannot gift this, nor do I feel safe eating it. I want a refund since the whole thing needs to be thrown out

This is nothing like the Belgian chocolate I had in the past. Nothing at all! It is more like drug store chocolates of the past, or left overs from last year from the local chocolatier. Years ago I sent a letter to a really top notch Belgian chocolate maker and was told that they don't ship overseas, even by air, because freshness is paramount and hard to ensure in those circumstances

There was probably only about 7 or 8 different types of pieces in selection, but they were all great. I'd like to see more variety. The chocolate was very soft, partially melted when we received it. It should have been shipped on ice.

Fell in love with Leonidas during a Trip to Northern Europe. We spend the Day in Brussels and walked away after buying too many pounds of Chocolate! We are huge fans of the buttercream. You cannot go wrong with tasty Belgian Chocolates! Super Fast Shipping, my husband had bought them for me as part of a Christmas gift! Thanks!

Top notch chocolatier. Purchased these chocolates many time while in Brussells and hand carried them back home. Velvety smooth texture, Excellent assotment of flavors. A pleasure in every box. Try them once and your hooked. Enjoy
