AUTHENTIC MIDDLE EASTERN Beans much larger than appear on can
My husband is from the Middle East and has lived in the US for 50 yrs. He loves fava beans for a snack. He has been eating Goya and Progresso all these years. For some reason we couldn’t find any at any of our local stores-maybe there is a shortage. Went on Amazon and found these. They came today, my husband immediately opened a can and was so surprised they were much larger and darker(true cooked favs beans are dark) not light in color and small like the photo on the can. When he tasted them he was very impressed. He said they were the best he has had in the US. He wants me to make sure we always have plenty in our home so I’ll be reordering soon! Cans were not dented and they were carefully packaged.

Quality product
We bought this product to make foul mudammas and it worked great.

Tender but salty
Too salty for my taste, even after rinsing, but good texture for a canned fava. Still searching for something closer to fresh.

Tasty Beans
Value for money . This order came in a pack of 4 cans. Regretfully one can was very badly dented and I threw it away as one should never consume anything that comes in a dented can for health reasons.
