Sennheiser Replacement EARPADS (1 Pair) for HD 569, 598Cs

Don't get frustrated with the installation. Be patient, remember that the little plastic retainer clips CAN break. Find an installation video and follow the directions. Work the pad with your fingers and fingernails gently around until it snaps in all the places.I've done a few such replacements, they are never very easy, but always work out well if you don't get frustrated and don't fatfinger the job.The pads are fine, the OEM ones were felt and these are smoother and plasticky but not in a bad way, I actually prefer them to the felt ones because these seem slightly cooler and easier to wipe. I hope to keep extending the life of my Sennheisers as long as I can.

These are genuine, OEM pads from Sennheiser for their closed back 598CS. Same comfort as the original pads. They keep that sound isolation you expect of closed backs. Just be aware these are not the pads you want for the 598SE or 598 SR both of which are Open Back headphones. I own both CS and SE and they use different pads. The pads will fit either but will affect the sound quality.

I have a pair of HD598 Cs headphones and these were an exact match to the original pads, including the suede texture (not sure if it's actually leather or not, but has the velvet feel of suede).Replacement was not difficult. The pads are secured to the headphones with small clips so you just pull the old ones off and snap in the new ones. Only needed light pressure and there's an audible click when they snap in place.Just be careful to pull the pad itself and not the edge of the headphone casing. The design (at least for my model) makes it look like the pads have a large outer rim of plastic, but that's part of the casing. The actual clip is inset and can't be seen when the pads are attached. Makes more sense when you see the pads up close.

They're a little tricky to get on (not to mention getting the old ones off..) but, if you've got the flaking foam issue which seems to happen to these headphones over the years these will fix the issue and it's like getting a new set of cans.

The cloth on my old ear cups had torn and the sponge on the inside was showing. I searched around for replacements and everyone said to get these.After receiving them, they fit right into my Sennheiser 598 SEs. Installation was super easy. Just pop out, pop in.The fabric is not the "velour" they describe. It really does feel like, as Danielle said, flat leather. Its soft and the memory foam feels somewhat nice, but the solid fabric keeps the bass inside the cups and cancels noise from the outside. I haven't worn them but for a couple of hours. It is roughly room temperature and I am not doing much but talking to some friends, but they feel comfortable enough.TL:DR If you are looking for originals, these aren't it. Solid "leather" fabric holds in sound. The price is a bit much for what they are, but overall they are comfortable enough for me to keep. Will update as soon as they fall apart.

These ear pads are genuine Sennheiser replacements for ear pads on my Sennheiser HD598CS headphones. After five years of use, my original ear pads literally wore out shedding flaking black dust profusely. I was happy to find these replacement ear pads and they were easy to install. At first, I could not see how to remove the original ear pads. All you have to do is grab firmly on the ear pads and pull them hard away from the headphones. They pop right off.

When I received the ear pads and saw the proper logo on the packaging, I stupidly thought that since they were legit, I could postpone installing them beyond my return window. They just don’t fit properly. I wondered if I was installing them incorrectly but I was able to put my old earpads on within seconds compared to the hour trying to get the new ones to seal properly. The ones I received either suffered an error during manufacturing or it’s falsely advertised

Great fit, easy to install, perfect replacement for my sennheisers. I’ve replaced them twice now, the first set lasted nearly 3 years. The pads are better than the original and took longer to crack and degrade.Will buy again when I need them.
