The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: Facilitator's Guide Set 2nd Edition

I was a little hesitant to order this after reading some of the reviews. However, because I love the book and have already used some of the quotes and ideas during team building discussions, exercises and training, I thought it was worth the risk. Today, I received the Facilitator's Guide, today, and have already looked through all the products, put my binder together and checked the thumb drive, and all of them are in great condition. I am excited and looking forward to using the materials. I have developed my own materials for years and after enduring countless hours of it, I am grateful that someone would share their intellectual property with others to use for under $300. Again, I am very pleased! Thank you so much for this awesome product that can be used to help build productive and effective teams in any organization!

It's of course a powerful process/book to look at these dysfunctions and move toward improvement. I deliver 5 Dysfunctions workshops professionally among a couple others and it's probably my favorite workshop. It gets the most ahas and with the right regular reminders (follow up video conferences) it impacts an organization more than getting upset with sales and marketing. If input never changes output never will.

The materials for facilitating the Five Dysfunctions of a Team workshop in this set are very good.The USB flash worked for me, no problems.The only disappointment is it indicates that the facilitator guide is contained in a hard cover notebook. This is not the case, you simply receive the 3-hold punched pages.In communication with Cherry Books, the seller, they were quite responsive in attempting to get my the hard cover notebook - but it was not available. For the price as compared to other sellers, the value is still good.

I love Patrick Lencione and in particular this book. So far I have read 4. However I was disappointed with the pack, and thought it was overpriced. The support resource material was okay, but I frankly could have put together a better kit. The (one) workbook was bound and I am still not sure why and what to do with it, apart from forcing the bound pages open and copying it for the whole team of participants. ( Why bind it or include on the USB to print off). The the other disappointing thing was the glossy cover was torn, which makes it unattractive. Suggest if you are interested in the content for workshops, read the book and make your own slides, and save $300.

Excellent materials. Well put together. I had no issue with the flash drive and saved the files on my google drive to have a back up copy just in case.

A resource for the ages!

Having read the book I was excited to move on to train it, so I ordered the facilitator's guide. But I'm really disappointed by the (low) quality of the slide deck and other materials. They look like something produced in the 1990s, not something that puts this great material in a professional, up-to-day light. The material deserves much better. Maybe I should have taken a cue from the price--it's pretty low--and maybe I was expecting too much, but were this my book I'd put much better materials into the hands of trainers who are representing it.

Lencioni practical and very applicable.
