Frontier Organic Whole Fennel Seed, 16 Ounce

I've never ordered from this company before, but so far, I can say, it has been a good experience. The FENNEL SEED arrived in a foil style packaging right on time, as agreed and has a nice strong smell. It is in great condition and I will buy from them in the future, for sure. 5-STARS, and I recommend. :-)

This tastes like the candy flavoring used in licorice candy and is full of flavor and scent. It only takes a few seeds in my mouth to give a strong licorice type of flavor. This 1 pound bag filled about 2 quart jars.I also have bough licorice root powder which doesn't really taste like the candy. Licorice root powder does taste a bit like the candy but its much more bitter and has a bit of a sweet taste and a soothing feeling afterward.For some reason, I started having allergic reactions to this when eating it raw. The first week or so I had no problems but then two different times I had allergic reactions where my throat and mouth swell up really bad to the point that it was difficult to swallow. I have never been allergic to anything else so this was a big surprise.

I used it blending with other teas. I like the fennel taste, and it helps with digestion.

Seeds very dry and doesn’t taste as strong as other brands I’ve tried.

I drink 3 to 4 cups of fennel tea each day. I starting drinking the tea about a month ago and can tell a difference with my IBS. I plan on sticking with this tea. I know it is making a difference.

These fennel seeds were smaller, dryer, and more tasteless than what I am used to. Disappointed.

These came to me in a timely manner, and to me they have delicious flavor. I like to put water in a pot, even an old glass coffee pot, pour in some seeds and make fennel tea that way. I like to drink my fennel tea hot or cold too. I like to put some fennel seeds in when cooking squash too. I really enjoy fennel seeds.

I make CCF tea daily and have been using seeds from Frontier Co-op for years. I highly recommend their products
