McNeil knocks it out of the park
The Sisipheum has always been one of the great crew of the Horus Heresy. We don't know about them in the 41st Millennium, so their story truly wasn't written in stone, we really didn't know if they would live or die. This story is a glorious farewell to them, and a novella that cements their story within the greatest of the Warhammer universe and given so much significance once the full context is understood. Godspeed Sisipheum, thank you for your service.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\SPOILERS AHEAD:The revelation that the Magna Mater if the key that allowed Belisarious Cawl to improve upon the Emperor's work is a fantastic linchpin, and shows the genius of the Master of Mankind. What took Bellisarius Cawl 10,000 years, with full resources, while focusing on nothing else, and with a working template already created upon which he only had to improve, the Emperor did with scraps. while conquering a world and reuniting Mars, in a blink of an eye. This is one of the very few ways in which Belisarious' achievements are really framed as a massive undertaking and it can now be seen how he had all the advantages to fully succeed in his endeavor.

Another heroic tale of the Sisypheum's crew.
I've loved this group of characters for years now and when I saw that this book was about them, I had to buy it. It seemed too short because I read it in one day and without giving any spoilers, fans of this crew will most likely be left feeling bitter sweet to say the least. Its a must have if you love the crew and i'm sure the implications from the story are going to be revisited in 30k and 40k.

The journey ends
This is the last novel of the crew of the Sisypheum and it ends with both a bang and a whimper. Definitely worth reading, but don't expect to feel fully satisfied. The Magnus/Nykona mystery doesn't get any kind of satisfying reveal and while the end result has meaning in the far future, ultimately the crew fail to aid Terra and the Imperium during the battle very much.

Another Great HH Novella!
Great Novella. I’ve been following and reading the whole HH series since the first book was published. You just have to read them all imo!

Proper ending
Good ending to the series and background on design of Astartes and Primaris.

Good read
Great book. Filled in some blank spots about the Heresy for me.

The book itself was good, lying to people about the number of pages, not good.
For the price they are charging for this book, 150 something pages, is not even worth it however. If it were the 400 that was posted to this, possibly. Games Workshop=get your crap together. You would have a far vaster fan-base, and even more things sold if you were not so high and mighty with your prices. Bring yourself down to your fans level and see how the hobby explodes!

Fantastic SoT story...and a culmination of previous stories.
I really enjoyed this story. It tied up a lot of plotlines for the crew of the Syspheum.. it has a cool Easter egg right at the very end. The last line/name..Overall, a very good story. Heart wrenching in places too.

Another fine story
Product details indicates a 400 page book, not a 180 page book. That's why I'm docking it a star. Otherwise, another fine entry in the Horus Heresy universe.

All good things come to an end, but what an end
A worthy end to a story arc of some great characters. Sad to see it end but all good things must.

Gute Geschichte..ABER
