The fillings were used to help the students to understand and witness the magnetic field.

Magnetic slime
This product was used to make magnetic slime. The course shavings floor/filings worked better than the fine filings. If you're making magnetic slime I would recommend only buying the coarse products.

Containers arrived with broken lids.

Very educational and amusing
Love playing with these! Very educational for the kids and amusing for us! We put them on a glass table and used magnets underneath the table so they didnt stick to our magnets.

Just as described, filings are acceptably uniform within each jar. Spice jar lid with different shaker/pour openings is a helpful touch.
