ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 Z580C Case, ProCase Ultra Slim Hard Shell Stand SlimSnug Cover Tablet Case for 2015 ASUS ZenPad S8.0 (Z580C, Z580CA) -Black

I purchased this mainly on price. It's inexpensive and it merits the positive reviews it's received. You just snap your tablet in, and it's good to go. The front cover stays on snugly via magnets.There are two downsides to this cover: First, it takes away from the litheness of the ZenPad - it weighs way more than 1.6 oz listed. It's probably 75% of the weight of the actual tablet and it adds considerable bulk. The second issue is that, as stiff and protective as the case is, there is a cutout for the camera in one corner where there is zero structural support (see photo). It's not that I think my tablet needs that much protection there, but it just feels flimsy and cheap.Overall, this is a good case, though. It just won't win any design awards.

For the price, this case is great. It holds the tablet very securely, to the point that it is difficult to take the tablet out if I want to.However, I have a few complaints. It's not really that great at keeping my tablet at an angle without collapsing, so I mostly just fold the front flap all the way around to the back and lie the tablet flat. Unfortunately, when I do that, the metal on the flap's edge is exposed, which means I have to be careful where I put the tablet down so I don't put it on a surface that might get scratched - like the hood or roof of a car. Lastly, there's no way to insert or remove a micro SD card from the tablet without removing the case.

This is a mighty decent case for the money. It feels sturdy enough and it has a magnet clasp that keeps it shut. This case also works with the open to wake feature on my Asus Zenpad S 8. There is a flimsy flap near the rear camera that feels unnecessary and is unlikely to protect the camera very well, so I gave this case 4/5 stars. Would recommend it if you're on a budget and need a case.

Positives: Item was shipped out and arrived at my doorstep SUPER fast :) The snap in plastic hard body part of case is good - tablet fits very snug.Negative: This tablet case seems a bit thinner compared to other tablet cases I have ordered in past, especially for the price. It is my personal opinion that the price is a little high for the materials and craftsmanship. Worried about seams possibly not holding up well as they appear melded (plastic/vinyl bonded together via melting with heat) and the material does not seem very durable, but only time will tell.Overall: Serves the purpose of providing a cover for tablet.

Main reason for purchase this case: it protects all corners of the tablet in case of a fall, yet allows the full screen to be seen & touched. The magnet works fine for making the tablet sleep upon closing the case. Downsides: only 2 possible angles for viewing the screen & the most upright position is secure, but not super secure (i.e., don't mess around the triangle of support, or it may collapse). IMO, the overall best case.

Nice design and affordable. But...near the camera lens, the case leaves the edge with a flap. Whether intentional or not, it makes no sense for that not to be glued to the case like the rest of the material. It made me angry to be so happy with my new tablet and unhappy with the case. I don't use the case now unless I leave home.

As soon as I put this case on I dropped my tablet. Have done so a couple more times and there has been no damage.However, my favorite feature is that closing the case puts the tablet to sleep and opening it pops right back to the app you were using last. This is very helpful since the ASUS takes FOREVER to reboot.

This case fits my Zenpad perfectly, and the front cover folds and stays in place via magnets allowing it to become a stand when watching Netflix. Wouldnt have any other case for my tablet.
