While the Montavue MNR8041 is PoE compatible, it will take the 48 volts, 25 watts max on the RJ45 input only. Using this power supply to inject power on to a 2 or more port PoE switch or injector would be a better method to power your 2 NVRs.

Q: Is the DC cord section really 5 feet long from the box to the plug?

Yes, the DC cord is 150cm which is just under 5 feet long
