Absolutely recommended for new users
I love all the flavors as do the friends and family I've shared the jerky with. I recommend buying fairly lean and thin sliced steak from the market and then cutting it further yourself for the dehydrator. Follow instructions found on the cure kit. Leave seasoned jerky in fridge for atleast 12 hours before use. If you plan on consuming the jerky within 7 days of making it then you can use less cure mix per lb of meat than recommended.
