Ninjas + OCR
Great support and fit. A tad larger than expected for the size, but not bad. Would go a half size smaller. They are great for the vast majority of what I do for workouts, which is around functional fitness, HIIT, OCR, and ninja warrior training. However, the one knock that took 'em down a star is that the grip at the front half of the shoe is significantly less tacky than the Vapor Glove 3 version. This is particularly troublesome with wall climbs and warped wall runs. Other than that, great upgrade in all other aspects over the previous version.

3rd time was NOT the Charm: Splitting after few uses
I bought these shoes a month ago. The first pair I sent back as they were a little too large, The second pair I wore about 7 times total before parts of the rubber began to separate from the cloth upper in the section where the toe flexes. This third pair is starting to separate in the same way after only being worn 3 times. These shoes are SO comfortable and no cool, but they do not want to stay together!

Size runs large
I've worn Merrell barefoot shoes for years. This one lives up to expectations. One thing to note is that the first pair I tried was way too long for my feet. I had to drop down by half a size from what I wore in the Tough Glove and original Trail Glove. Also, the huge Merrell logo on the side is disappointing. I'd strongly prefer a shoe that isn't a walking Merrell billboard, but I didn't have much time to research other brands this time around.

Minimal support, as advertised, but very narrow in the toe box
Everything was great, if you have extremely narrow feet. But part of minimal shoes is that they don't constrain your natural foot shape. In particular, the toe box should have room for your toes to spread out when you walk or run.I have some original Trail Gloves in the same size, and they are at least one full inch wider at the front. That is a huge difference, and let me tell you my feet felt it.Within 30 seconds of trying them on, I took the shoes off and sent them back.If you don't care about toe-splay, or your high school nickname was Pencilfoot, these shoes are for you. But not me.

These shoes caused pain severe enough to send me to the podiatrist.
I have been wearing the previous versions of this shoe for approximately ten years. I have never had problems. Perhaps they didn’t last as long as expected, but that was the only problem. I bought this new version and I wish I hadn’t. I wore them for ind day. I noticed that they were much narrower than previous versions. After a few hours I became aware that they were causing my feet to roll slightly. The next day I had a lot of pain in my right foot. I switched back to the previous version. During the past week the pain got worse and was shooting up my leg. I went to the podiatrist yesterday. She verified that the shoes were the source of my pain. She treated my foot and told me I needed to wear non flexible shoes for two weeks. If that doesn’t work I will need to be fitted to a boot. I wish I would have paid attention to the negative reviews.

At least a 1/2 size too big.
Does not fit as expected, too large. Exchanging. Hopefully rewrite more once I can actually wear them.
