Love the length but kinks quickly.

From my initial review below, where I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread, I have changed my opinion drastically in these last few months! They are NOT selling the same product I reviewed initially. I literally changed out the hose for my husband a week ago. Already there are 5 - "five" kinks. It knots up all the time. The hose will be changed out tomorrow. That's literally 2 hoses (minimum) per week. I just spent 10 minutes trying to untangle the mess when my hubby went up to bed, something that has become routine. I have made it a point to purchase this and only this tubing, so I can only assume that they are now purchasing the same crappy tubing everyone else sells and for more $$ (since you only get 3 tubes). Off to find reliable tubing so my husband can get the O2 he's prescribed instead of having the multiple kinks cut it off.This is the best tubing we've found yet. Everything else we bought kinked badly after just a few days. I don't know if it was how tightly it was wound but..... I certainly wasn't expecting this. Day 4, not one kink. I don't have to follow my husband unwinding and trying to unkink his hose when he goes up and down steps. The tubing stays very straight, not coiling with every move. After spending who knows how much on other hoses, this one is a keeper for sure!!

The green color is helpful in seeing the tubing and it allows oxygen flow when kinked or crushed. The polyurethane tubing is EXTREMELY rigid and even after weeks of use continues to form tangles of loops presenting a very real fall risk. No amount of untangling, untwisting or gentle stretching remedies this hazard risk. I’ve worked in healthcare for almost 50 years and this is the most rigid, kink prone and tangle prone tubing. It mention silicone composition as well as polyurethane but realize only a couple of inches is silicone almost all is VERY stiff plastic.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: This tubing is a tangled mess. It looks NOTHING like pictured. It's a clear lightly green-tinted material. It is very stiff and kinks like crazy. Pass this one by! (...well, maybe you shouldn't!)REVISED REVIEW: All that I said above was true, this one kinked like crazy. BUT... it finally straightened out and I found a lot of good things about it.1. Because it is stiff, my cats don't like to chew it! <--- that alone is worth the price of admission!2. It eventually calms down. Setting it on a heating pad on low, helped with that.3. It is narrower than other tubing, so the delivery of oxygen feels like I am getting more at a lower pressure.4. Because it isn't so soft, you can feel it better on your feet and are less likely to trip.I hope this helps!

It is true, it does not kink, but the reason it doesn't kink is because it is so stiff . Much stiffer than the one that came with my unit.It still works ok but if you run it all over the house, from room to room, it can become a trip hazard.
