Wonderful, but user must adjust
I’m a 69 yo man who played alto as a youth. I would say that the last time I played was 40 years ago. I’m retired and decided to climb back aboard. The weight of the alto was a consideration at my age and I bought both an alto and soprano at the same time and got a great deal. The neck strap was still an issue that I was looking to address when I ran across this item. Without hesitation, I bought one.Everything great you read is true. The wearer needs to know that your horn hangs differently. On the soprano, it relieves pressure on your right thumb, but it also dangles and try making a high D. It wants to swing. There’s a learning curve and it’s well worth the journey. No more neck strain and my shoulders hardly notice.Wonderful.

Must have for saxophone players!
Wish I had known about this when I started playing. It puts the weight of the instrument on your shoulders and not your neck. It's very easy to take on and off. You will have to carry it outside the case, but it's well worth it. It comes with a carrying sack. It's got a deep hook, and there's no risk of the saxophone coming loose and falling. There are comments of the sax "floating" in front of you--it's true!

No more neck and backbone pain
This thing is a big helper for me. Now I can practice not 20 minutes, but whole hour with no tension in my neck and backbone. Practicing with my tenor sax became so comfortable now. First time, I have not bended it correctly and when moving during the playing, it was trying to slip from shoulders. Now I have fount the correct curve for the shoulder supports and it become much more stable and comfortable. If you have a problems with your backbone or neck, give it a try.

10/10
Love it! I've used it on my alto and tenor for a while now and I'm very pleased with the lack of neck pain. Just took some time to find the right fit for it.

Big help for me. Give it a try.
My old neck is not in great shape. As a sax novice (tenor, bari, and sometimes alto) I've struggled with straps, harnesses and stands. I was curious about the Hookit but that seemed too costly so I tried this Jazzlab strap. First time I put it on it was an instant hit! Not only is it more comfortable than all the other things I've tried, it's quick & easy to put on / take off. Two thumbs up.Update: Another big plus is the way the horn is suspended further forward from your body. I went back to my old simple strap and in a few minutes my left thumb was tired from the added pressure of keeping the tenor in the right position. Back to the Jazzlab and it's naturally in a much better position.

Back pain gone
I used to use a regular neckstrap for my uni's marching band and if gave me severe back pains for weeks and then I saw some other members use a harness I asked if I could use it and man the back pain was gone in minutes. I decided to order one myself and since then my back pain when I play sax was just gone. Honestly if I knew of them earlier I would have gotten it sooner. 100% recommend the harness over a neckstrap.

Be sure to get the right size
I'm only 5' 10" but am very husky. Despite adjustments, the regular size tended to slip off as I played. If I bent down just a little -- say I was seated and bent over to pick up a water bottle, one arm of the holder would pop off. I didn't lose the sax but I sure could have. I wish the product description for the regular size had mentioned the XL. I subsequently bought the XL and it doesn't slip. The one downside is that the regular size fits into the bell of my tenor when in the case. I have to disassemble the XL to get it into a standard case. Aside from bother, I wonder if this will reduce the holder's life.
