Handmade Bifold Leather Wallet - Minimalist Leather Credit Card Wallet

I ordered this because I love all things leather. And don't get me wrong the leather is great. The problem is this is no where near what I would consider a minimalist wallet. It's thick. So if you're looking for a minimalist wallet I wouldn't choose this one. But if you're just looking for a high quality product then by all means this is just that.

This is a stout, well made, high quality wallet. However you should understand it's thick... too thick to think of it as a minimalist wallet. It's fully 1/2 inch thick with nothing in it. Everything you stick in the wallet will add to it's thickness. The wallet I was hoping to replace with this one is 1/2 inch thick with all it's contents. When I transferred the stuff to this new wallet it simply became too thick for a front pocket wallet... at least for me. It's a shame because I really like it otherwise. While it holds on to credit cards almost too tightly, I'm sure it would have loosened up over time. If carrying 3/4 inch or thicker wallet isn't a problem for you this is a dandy wallet at a great price.

I picked this one because I'm interested in the contrast stitching and a super minimalist wallet. The majority of my wallet is digital via Apple Pay, but I obviously still need to carry cards sometimes. If I were to make this myself (not that talented), I would do a thinner leather for a slimmer silhouette, and not cut the space into the top layer for cards. It winds up giving a full wallet a weird shape. I'd also take about half an inch off the top. so that there isn't that gap that another review mentioned.This will be my go-to wallet until I manage to make one that fixes the issues above.

If you are looking for a new wallet that's thin yet carry what you need look no further.I've been using this wallet for 60 days now and its awesome. Lightweight, slim and excellent quality. I was initially afraid that the threading would quickly come undone but the construction is solid. The maker didn't even try the "bribing" gimmick many sellers try here on amazon which shows the confidence in their product. I'm currently using all 4 card slots and I stuffed the under pocket with 4 business cards in one end and 2 plastic cards and a multi tool card on the other. I tried other gimmicky wallets but was quickly dissatisfied. If you are the type that slowly goes back to bad habits of carrying way to much in your wallet I'm confident you could just sandwich the extra cards add a rubber band and be good to go.I normally just put * stars and leave the review alone but this product deserves it. Will recommend to anyone that needs a good wallet.

Wow, I love this wallet, I was a little skeptical at first because of the price. It sounds dumb, but I wanted a wallet that you could smell the leather, this wallet has that awesome leather smell. This is a very well made wallet, it fits my two military IDs, my drivers license, five bank cards and a few business cards. Cards have to share the card slits, but that doesn’t bother me. I’m very happy with this wallet, highly recommend!!

I don’t like buying things over and over, so I look for quality items and am willing to pay for the quality. The price made me wary, but I took a chance and made the purchase.I am so glad I did. Surpassed my expectations. I’m thinking of buying another one now, so I can have the exact same thing when I need to replace this one in 20 years.I have a friend who does leatherwork. He wanted $125 for something VERY similar. This is a bargain. Keep up the good work!

Easy to have a slim wallet when you can’t fit anything in it. Pockets are super tight, if you have more than 2 paper bills, they’re going to feel like they are going to rip when pulling them out. Made in China, and it shows.

Precisely what I was expecting. This thing is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous coffee colored leather with quality stitching.I'm accustomed to a tri-fold wallet, so it does have its drawbacks (capacity). But with discipline and a little simplification, this wallet will serve me perfectly.The only issue I have is that if you use all of the sleeves for bank cards credit cards Etc, the geometry of the wallet when stuffed will require those cards to bend slightly. The wallet is new to be so this may change over time, perhaps the leather will stretch slightly and put less stress on the cards. Regardless it isn't much of a problem and all wallets do this to some extent.Heads up to the company making this wallet, if you do a larger size, I'm in. This is superb simplicity.
