The cover alone captured my attention then I did a little research and decided I needed this book. So glad I got it, patterns are easy to follow and there are lots of great tips throughout as well.

I love everything about quilts and quilting. I love having a great book with great directions and great photos. This book does not disappoint. I used to subscribe to quilting magazines but the ads and repetitive quilt patterns are just annoying. It is much more relaxing to cruise my library of beautiful books and get inspiration from them. I seem to always gravitate towards this book. Quick shipping and great purchase.

It's mostly for beginners but it has some nice patterns and color combinations. It has clear and simple instructions on how to make dresden plates and layering strips. I have other books that assume the reader knows both but this explains them well. This is a good book for basics.

I opted for the Kindle download of this book. I enjoyed reading through it. Second reading, I made notes and added to my Projects list. The only thing I would like to do is make a copy of the pattern to make my cutting notes, etc. and am not sure if this is even possible. If so, would appreciate insight on how to do it.

I love this book. Sherri McConnell does a great job of giving easy to follow directions, even for beginner like me. Her projects are beautiful - You would never know they were made from scraps. I made the Dresden Plate table runner and pillow and they are some of my beautiful projects - made from scraps. Every quilter has scraps and every quilter should have this book.
