Summer Easy Sight Digital Color Video Monitor, White

The battery life really sucks. it doesn't last all night if it's not charged 100%. a few times it was at like 90% and it went dead before morning, leaving my daughter in her room awake and crying by herself for god knows how long. We ended up just having it plugged in all of the time even though it says not to do that or it will ruin the battery life. Battery life already sucks and i started waking up every few hours to check on the monitor because I was paranoid it would go dead again.The range is not very good. before this i had a cheap sony monitor, i could take out outside on the deck if i needed to hang laundry or whatever. this one will not reach past the kitchen so i have to keep it in the window if i need to go outside quickly while baby is napping.Other than that it works just fine. I have two cameras for it and it works fine switching between them. I just wish the battery did not suck so bad and i didnt have to plug it in all over the house to use it. If i knew I might have spent a little more money and just bought a better monitor.

I purchased this to replace an older model analog summer infant monitor. We do not have a big house, but I was unable to even go downstairs and have the monitor stay in range. The volume on it is also very low and the picture quality was bad. I understand that this is a low priced model, but I do not think it would work for anyone with a 2 story house due to the lack of range, and for someone who is a heavy sleeper due to the very low volume. We returned this Summer Infant monitor and purchased this one  Video Baby Monitor with Night Vision Camera,Two Way Audio System,Temperature Sensor and Large Transmission Range  and it has much better range and volume.

Its very nice to be able tosee the baby as well as hear her. The screan is very small,. Would have liked it more if it was a bit bigger. Occasionally for some reason itll ose the signal. but just have to bring the hand held into the rm to resinc.

The lowest volume setting tends to "hiss". It is not our primary monitor, so I don't mind it so much. I just put it face down to muffle the "hissing" at night.

Sometimes I wish I could talk to my son, which you can't do with this monitor, but I was just looking for a basic monitor that wasn't too expensive and this one definitely delivers.

Would be 5 stars but doesn't hold a charge for as long as I think it should. Would not even make it thru an 8 he night. But for the price good device

I am disappointed as this monitor is constantly cutting in and out no matter where is is placed in our home. I can be in the room next door and have it tell me that it's out of range. I have the wide screen Summer and love it. I'm disappointed in this model. If I would have kept the box I would have returned it.

I've had the same monitors for about 3 years and they worked fine until the parent monitor screen stopped working right, so I reordered the same one instead of a different brand, and even after charging the monitor overnight it would not turn on even once. So I'm returning it and ordering a new brand.
