Easy to clean, travels well
I've always hated travel coffee mugs because the lids get disgusting very quickly. Not this guy. This mug is a professional's/SAHM's dream. Just the fact that it CLOSES and doesn't spill hot coffee on you when you are on the move is enough, but it's also incredibly easy to wash. The lid comes apart into 4 parts, making it so easy to get into all of its nooks and crannies and give it a nice clean. The wide mouth of the bottle makes it easy to get a brush in there. I highly recommend this bottle.

Almost perfect
I typically use an Owala or a Yeti for my daily water bottle. I've tried different sizes and lids of both Owala and Yeti, but this is my first Hydro flask and first bottle with a twist to open cap. I was skeptical of this purchase because many reviews said it leaks and I throw my bottle in my bag often but I decided to buy this because the 16fl oz white was on sale for $16 and I couldn't pass up that sale lol. As soon as I got this bottle I put water in it and shook it as hard as I could, no leaking. The next day when I put some ice coffee in it and turned it over it did have a few drops come out. If you're someone who brings their bottle with them everywhere and enjoys the peace of mind of being able to throw it in a bag without leaking, I would pass on this one. This bottle does an amazing job at keeping stuff cold for a long period of time, but the possibility of leaking is a deal breaker for some. It's pretty easy to clean although I prefer bottles without a rubber gasket since they are easier to get moldy and this one has two in the lid. Regardless of the flaws, this bottle works for my intended purpose of carrying juice or ice coffee with me to work.

Not for use at home—designed for hiking
The lock features are too difficult if you don’t need them. But it works great to keep the temperature consistent: either hot or cold. Excellent capacity. Easy to grip. Good in the dishwasher. No smell.

Keeps beverage hot for hours, BUT
It's difficult to use while driving, as it is a 2-hand operation to open, sip and close each time, unless it's not important to keep your coffee hot. Also, the cleaning of the cup after use is rediculous. The entire cap must be disassembled for cleaning. It's just too much trouble to use, and forget about using it on a road trip. I n contrast, a $5 insulated tumbler from the W store has a double lid and keeps my beverage hot or cold almost all day. There are no opening or closing to do in use. Just fill and go. It's ironic that this insulated beverage container costs many times the cost, yet sits in the back of the cabinet while the inexpensive one is used every day. It doesn't look nicer or insulate quite as well, but the convenience and accessibility of my coffee whilst driving is what it's there for. It's more of a new style thermos than a useful drink container.I hope that they improve the design of this cap. Frankly, I HATE the one provided.

The Best!!
The best coffee mug I’ve ever had by far. Zero spill lid and my coffee stays hot much longer than any other travel mug I’ve ever owned. If I want my coffee to stay hot for a well over 12 hours, I pour boiling water in it, put the lid on, and let it warm the metal interior for 15 minutes. Not necessary unless I plan on having very hot coffee 6+ hours later.

It leaks!
I needed a stainless steel bottle that is leak proof so I can carry coffee from home. I carry the bottle in my backpack so it tumbles inside of my bag (reason why it needs to be leak proof). Unfortunately, for 2 times I used the bottle, it leaked inside of my bag. Considering the brand and cost, it is really disappointing. I liked the design of the lid (you can take it apart to clean).

hard to clean lid
Keeps drinks hot and cold, but it takes forever/hard to clean the 4 piece lid, I would suggest getting different leak proof lid. There are so many pieces to clean the liquid stays in areas making it smell. Like if you had dairy in your coffee it will smell if you just rinse it like you really need to take it apart and scrub every little bit which is not convenient to do every single day for a college student. or for anyone.
