MUCKMen's Arctic Excursion Ankle Snow Boot

Great all around boots!
These boots are amazing. They’re so convenient to put on and take off because there are no laces. They’re super comfortable and I have walked miles and miles in these boots. I honestly think they’re more comfortable than my hiking boots. When we didn’t have a high snow, I even use them to go snow shoeing this winter. They’re the perfect all purpose boots; warm and waterproof. I liked them so much. I’ve even bought a spare pair because they were on sale. I saw a comment about them not being tall enough... ? I have a taller pair of muck boots and I do not like wearing them because they chafe my shins and are awkward to walk in.

Warm and comfortable!
I love these boots for their warmth and easy on off. Not clunky like other winter boots and much lighter than many other ones out there. My feet are comfortable all day and I can even wear them in warm weather if rainy and my feet aren’t over heated. The cost was less than I expected for the quality and I am in my second pair. Will definitely recommend these to others!

Well worth the price premium vs cheap imitations.
Quick Conclusion:— Pro’s —-No leaks!!-Quality construction & glues-Durable yet lightweight-Easy on/off, they stay in place unlike others-Fit is great (closer to an athletic shoe than a boot which I love because they obviously don’t have laces)-Warm, but not overbearing-Stylish (for rubber boots...), I am frequently asked about them— Con’s —-Small particles can fall in because they aren’t very tall (I also bought them because they aren’t overly tall)-They weren’t free.. (idk, I can’t think of any other cons)As a civil engineer/land surveyor, I am always in & out of the woods, on construction sites, walking through wetlands etc. “Waterproof” work boots all lose their waterproofing once they’ve been scuffed up by brush & construction debri. I’ve tried multiple pairs of rubber boots from the knock off brands (typically in the $60-$70 range), bad experiences across the board and resisted buying other muck boot & bogs options because they don’t seem to fit very snug. Knock off brands seem to hold up for about 2 weeks until a seam splits or they get a puncture, without fail they fail. These are the first pair of rubber boots that actually fit well. I purchased size 10M in these (I am a 10.5M in Nike/10M in Adidas) and I could almost go for a run in them because they’re very form fitting. Easy on/off, soft & comfortable inner, light, yet very well made. I’ve worn them in temps down to 10deg f with just one pair of socks and was plenty warm. Ive had days walking +10,000 steps and didn’t get any foot fatigue because they stay put & again are light. My one word of caution would be to make sure they align with how you plan to use them. Meaning, they are only 5” tall (which is why I bought them), but if you only plan to wear them through wetlands, tall brush or use in water deeper than 3”-4” I’d look at a different style with a taller shaft. Small bits of leafs & debri can fall in when walking in deep woods, but it’s a compromise I’d be happy to make again due to how great they are in many other areas.

Love them
I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them! He says they are true to size, easy to get on and off, decently warm, and a great spring boot!

Heel Slips a bit otherwise seems fine
The ankle is a bit tight, but it should loosen with wear. Most important: the fit is better and any boot I've tried this season. (Online & instore = 14 styles!) I wear women's 11.5 USA, have long toes, high instep, a wide ball and narrow heel. (great for stilettos, but try them on the snow..) I ordered a men's 10. There is room in the boot for socks and my instep is not too cramped; Again I expect the boot to give a bit with wear. They are rated to -40F so I look forward to wearing these during my upcoming outside ballot collection rotation for my county in a few weeks. (Gotta love the convenience of drive through drop off elections!) I hope they are comfortable enough to stand and walk in for the long shifts!

Used boots at a new price
Ordered my old pair 4 years ago. Showed up in a box brand new. I wore them almost all winter (4 winters) long. Feet always dry and warm. They started to separate on the soles so figured I got my moneys worth.I treated myself to a new pair. Well I guess another person with my size wore these “new” ones long enough to get their toe impressions on the inner soles and piles of dog hair inside and returned them. If I wanted used shoes I would have gone to goodwill not Amazon. Sad how these were sold as new being obviously worn. Very disappointing. Being returned and will buy elsewhere

Excellent Boot
Very happy with these boots. Living in Fairbanks, Alaska, so I know a little about cold temperatures and quality vs. non-quality winter gear. These are great. Keep your feet very warm. Highly recommended.
