One of the most beautiful,
and thorough books I've ever read. Miss Sarah is a wonderful teacher. She has assembled a truly encyclopedic workbook of embroidery from all around the world for us. It's easy to understand, but she never talks down to us. Very well-written.There are embroidery styles from everywhere, complete with maps! The how-to part is fully illustrated, and there are cute to gorgeous patterns for us to print and try our hand. All the patterns are still available as of today: 23 August 2023. I've come across several books recently that purport to have patterns, but the link in the book leads to nothing good. Sarah has even made it so that we can choose a size when printing. Nice.Great for beginners to experts, lots to explore and play with. Highly recommend to buy or borrow in ebook or physical format. One issue common in these type of books: they scanned everything in as a pdf /photo file. It makes reading very difficult for the reader, but it does maintain the original layout.Upon reflection, I give it the rare and coveted 10 out of 10 unicorns!🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄

Excellent organization, easy to follow
I’ve never embroidered before until I read this book. So easy to navigate with multiple visual options, clear instructions and crisp photography. I’ve tried a half dozen other books and keep reverting to this one.

Beautiful book.
I got this on kindle. Every pic and written descriptions are clear and easy to understand. It's a cinch to enlarge the pages when needed. Very inspirational and I never knew there were so many stitches and I've been embroidering for years

PROBABLY THE BEST NEW BOOK ON THE MARKET...BUT
It need to be in print format. It is too big to fit the kindle page format and also since you can’t print kindle pages the patterns are useless. I would repurchase this book on print edition, that is how good it is. Not sure why Amazon persists in selling craft books with patterns and still has not managed to come up with a print feature.

Best Embroidery Book Ever
I have embroidered for over 50 years. Books serve as reference for making my own designs. Then along comes this book that has stitches I have never seen - after 50 years! Oh boy, talk about excitement.

This is an amazing collection of stitches. The directions are very clear. I know I will be using this as my go-to book for ways to add variety to my embroidery designs.

Best Embroidery Stitches Book Out There!
After reading people's reviews I don't even know where to begin..., I will just go with my gut feelings and the truth. Their reason, it is in kindle format, and it does say that. I don't know why people are confused when they buy it and it is Not a physical book , is because you would Not be able to afford the book if it was in printed form, And the book would be so big it would not be accessible..., I actually asked the author of the book. Oh, and talking about you can't see the stitches, though I have no idea why, If it was in printed form you really wouldn't be able to see the pictures of the stitches. They would be utterly minuscular. Oh and the reason that it is, in kindle format, is because that is how the author presented it, wanted the book to be sold as. It is Not up to Amazon how the author is selling their product. There is No printed version of the book.I also don't know why people are saying it is Not in kindle format?! I actually purchased the book directly from the author and downloaded it to my kindle and I have no problems seeing the pages. The pages fit just fine in kindle format. I even just now downloaded the book in kindle unlimited to see if it was different. Nope the display is just the same. Oh and not being able to see the stitches, try taking your thumb and forefinger and enlarging the pic if you can't see it. Though I, have no problem, seeing the pic's!Now to my review as I see it. It is the most extensive collection of embroidery stitches. Sarah has done a lot of extensive research for this book. The instructions are very clear and concise, that is if you are right handed you should have no problems, now for a left handed person it may take a bit to get it all down because they have to dissect and flip it around in their minds, I know I am one of them..., But it doesn't deter me in any way. I am used to adapting to a right handed world, though Sarah does now have a book for left handed persons, like me, with about two hundred stitches done left handed, instructions etc.,. which would make it easier for left handed people. The pictures are very clear and you can see them just fine, in most cases just the pictures themselves are self explanatory. There is a lot of history, background of the stitches in this book. It has a lot of projects included also. It is a great reference book to have. I also have the book downloaded on my phone and No, I don't have any problems with the format of the book on my phone. The pages are just fine. And as I said before just take those fingers and enlarge those photos if you need to. It really is as simple as that. I recommend this book to ALL individuals no matter if you are just beginning or have been doing this for many a year... You can Not go wrong with this book. If you have forgot how to do a certain stitch just grab your kindle look in the book and refresh your memory, or maybe reading this book and looking at the stitches you might find that you have been doing the stitch wrong. This book is Not too big to fit the kindle page format, it was made for the kindle page format. Don't know why it shouldn't be sold as a kindle title either, it is great as a kindle title or book, just like any other kindle book out there, besides you don't have to worry about the pages getting torn or soiled...,
