Takes the glare out.

I learned of this off of other people's youtube and reviews. This is a must have item as it greatly improves the picture and video quality of your Garmin dashcam. I have the Garmin 57 and it fits perfectly. My only complaint is that it does seem to be a bit steep in price point. But it is what it is, it's a Garmin upsale item for sure. Overall, I'm glad I bought it.

Easy to install, less glare.

Wish I had known when purchasing the camera, it will cut down on Sun glare and vehicle reflections, I would greatly advise to purchase when purchasing the camera. Maybe one day Garmin with add this to the purchase package.

I bought this after reading reviews to add to my Garmin Mini 2 dash cam, I am a fan of this camera, I have 4 and have recommended to others to purchase. Thought I’d give this filter a try, I see a slight difference in heavy sunlight, but not worth the money in my opinion. Maybe the high definition cameras it works much better, but for me, the camera works fine.

This is the second-best accessory out there, I would highly recommend it for the Dash 2. Works great in direct sunlight or lowlight. Install is as fast as you can twist your camera- it slides right over the lens. It may be a little pricey, but this helps your camera see better in all lighting conditions.

If you use a dashcam that is pointed into a windshield, you need this. The difference I noticed from the before and after was incredible. The dashcam without the polarized filter was glare and sun lines. After the 2 second installation, I have no glare and a perfect clarity.

It is nicely made and works as described as in the other reviews.I ordered this on a whim, taking a chance because it wasn't listed as fitting the Tandem.But it does fit as described in the other reviews.A couple of caveats-It does cause some slight vignetting.To me, that isn't a deal breaker as the reduction in windshield glare is well worth the trade.It also MAY rub the front of the Tandem lens at its curvature. So I don't push it fully it down. This might be adding to the vignetting I noticed. It still is a secure friction fit on my Tandem.As others have mentioned, night vision isn't as good because it also reduces light to the sensor, I have adjusted the exposure slightly to compensate.
