This obliterated my caterpillar top lip in under a minute.
I wasn't expecting much (to be completely honest, I read the other reviews thinking that they were probably fake) but thought I'd give it a go anyway.Anything would be better than my long, glossy Corona-virus-moustache. I could literally feel it blowing in the wind. It was mega.Instructions really easy to follow - even for someone like me who goes to salons for everything.Let me make this completely clear, I have zero beauty DIY skills. To obliterate my furry lip I just cut a 1cm strip off, cut that in half so I had 2x 1cm x 3cm strips. This gave me 4 x waxing strips.I rubbed a strip between my hands to warm it up before applying it and whipping it off.Top Tip: I safely stowed the other unpeeled strip in my bra to save me 30 seconds...The 4 waxing strips produced by 1cm strip obliterated it....my other half had offered to get his hedge trimmer out for me but thankfully this is no longer necessary.I know it seems expensive but this works out at about 150 tache waxes so is an utter, utter bargain.

Pretty easy to use and value for money
I thought I would give this a try. Never having used a waxing kit before. Was very timeless and quick to do, with instructions on the back, just warm up the strips by rubbing hands on it and ready to go. The strips are fairly large but can by cut just with some scissors. Pretty good for sensitive skin as the surface of the strips contain aloe vera. On the box it did say about doing a practice test on a small area first, but I used it immediately with no adverse effect or allergy.I am yet to find out how long it will actually take for regrowth to occur. Back of the box says to repeat every 4 to 6 weeks. They also threw in 4 finishing wipes which helps you remove any residue wax/glue left on your skin.I would probably use again and recommend.

Really quite good for a cold wax strip!
I’m not usually a fan of cold wax strips (I find Veet terrible), but these were pretty good! I used them for a Hollywood, and it took around 95% off, and was far less painful that when I go to the salon! (Top tip- cut the strips down to small manageable sizes - I cut about 2 inches widthways so I had the unwaxed bit to use to help pull off - smooth down in the direction of hair growth and be brave, rip that bad boy off against the direction of growth!) The bits it didn’t take I could tweeze off, so I got a good result in the end.The after wipe is nice and gets the excess wax off, and I’d recommend a cream or aloe vera gel for after. I use an after wax solution by Nads, or Sudocrem.Would have given 5 stars if it got all the hairs, but perfect for a lockdown tidy up :).

Quick and mess free, but is the wax strong enough?
I was relatively new to waxing when I purchased these so I was being cautious that my technique was probably not going to be perfect. I later bought a second box to make sure I was being fair on the product and my review. Overall I felt it was a lot of money to spend whilst not being able to remove significantly much hair. I found heating them by hand was tedious and difficult to do. I did marvel over being able to achieve a hairless shin on one leg, but I found myself having to do a lot of overlapping and multiple passes and that the wax didn't really cover that much surface area. I don't think the wax glue is strong enough or really up to this task. The first time I had long hairs and the second time I had lighter regrowth and the results were similar both times, in my opinion, they are not good enough for me to consider purchasing anymore. They're a lot easier and less messy than sugar wax and hard wax but I did not think the result was value for money and did not feel there were really enough strips. This thin wax strip did produce a bit of burning and irritation to my skin on parts of my arms that took a while to heal.

You get your money’s worth!
The strips are quite large and I cut them down into strips of different widths which I find are much easier and more effective to use! I’ve used these for upper lip, eyebrows, armpits and bikini area. I would warn though don’t use these on your bikini area or lower sensitive region if you don’t know what your doing because they will take the skin off. For the best results I used medical body powder over clean skin and wiped off all the residue, put the strip on in the opposite direction to the hair growth and pull the skin tight before removing. This method removed a clean strip of hair and for me I had good results with these strips using this method alone. There are quite a few sheets of wax strips and you split those into two by pulling them apart. Definitely a money saver if your a DIY person!

I wouldn’t buy again
I wouldn’t recommend these. I’m an avid bikini line waxer and normally visit a salon, however with lockdown I decided to give it a go myself. To be fair to the product this may well have been user error but this was my experience...I did it after a shower so was clean and dry, but did not have the pre wax solution. I followed the instructions on the box (rub strip in my hands to warm, pull apart and place on skin rubbing down in direction of hair growth, pull up in direction opposite hair growth fast) when I pulled off first strip (I’d stuck one each side as didn’t want the other strip to cool down after I’d warmed wax) it was really sticky like glue so was difficult to pull off, hardly any hair came up with it but quite a bit of wax left on my skin. I stuck it back down to try again, a few more hairs came up. Same experience the other side.I kept going (hurt like hell!) and used about 8 or 10 strips in the end (much more than I thought I’d need). By the time I’d got to a point that I couldn’t do it anymore I ended up having to use tweezers to get the (a lot not 3 or 4 like normal) remaining hairs out. I had really sticky wax all over my hands and bikini area. I rubbed some body oil into my skin, reshowered and scrubbed at wax with a flannel and body wash and then used body oil after again to soothe the skin which worked as well as the aloe Vera cream. So I ended up with the result I wanted but I’m never using these strips again, I was extremely sore, it was really painful because of how many times I stuck strips to me and pulled off and made it worse because of how I had to scrub at area to get off wax after. Not for me!
