Helps with dysgraphia and fine motor
Among some of his other needs, my son has dysgraphia and dyslexia. As a result, Handwriting is a battle. I really appreciate finding learning toys like this though. We practice his letters and words in kinetic sand, rice, dry beans, clay and other fun ways, but this is way less mess and easier to travel with to therapy appointments. The stylus is a magnet that pulls up the little balls in the letter as he traces them. When it done, you can push the little dots down to reset. Sometimes the dots stick, we found, but I still make him trace the letters entirely. It helps to have upper and lower case on this educational toy because most only have capital letters. The font is easy to read and see as well, and was a major factor in my choosing this toy. Some fonts are not like his other letters in his book or are hard to see with dyslexia. The colored letters made it even better. It has been a worthwhile investment.

Great Product
I have a three year old who just loves this tracing board! It's pretty simple to use and I like that ots double sided, unlike similar products on the market, so its cost effective and saves space! I highly recommend this product for any child who is learning their ABCs and how to write.

Abc magnetic tracing board
I originally saw this abc magnetic learning board in a kids boutique in a touristy area. It was way over priced so I didn’t purchase it, but I really wanted to buy it for my toddler because it would be a great tool for her to practice tracing her letters in both upper and lower case. My toddler is able to grasp the yellow magnetic pen to make the little magnetic balls appear and then learned how to erase them using the opposite end of the pen. It has upper case on one side and lower case on the other. It a also great for travel as it’s easy to hold the board in your hand or place in a backpack.

Not easy to use for proper writing.
It is a nice sturdy item for kids. Material is well made for dropping, dragging, and all that. However, it is not good for its intended purpose. My 3 y/o not interested in the bumpy magnetic writing. It is hard to follow because the little magnet balls doesn’t pop up and stay up always. My 6 y/o who can write already has hard time trying to follow and write as well. I concluded that it is just fun to pop the magnet out and back in. I wouldn’t recommend this item for proper writing alphabet techniques. Surface should rather be smooth for proper writing, not through magnet. Not very user friendly.
