Good for doodling!
I have been toting my book around a bit since I e purchased it a couple of weeks ago. Last night I noticed just how soft the paper was. First page ripped from being flipped over and sliding around on my desk. Also noticed how the paper would snag after a while using my mechanical pencils. Definately look for a higher quality paper on my next sketchbook. Overall - if nothing else it's a good doodle pad to work out ideas and studies on!

Good!
I like the size of the pages, and how it is spiral bound. However, the pages are thinner than I had anticipated and my micro pens bleed through (thankfully just to the back of the page, not onto the next page!). I also wish that it was a bit easier to fold the sketchbook in half so I can draw just on one page, but it feels like I’m going to rip the page before that if I fold it backwards without being careful enough. Overall though, this is a pretty good sketchbook, perfect for those just using pencils!

Cheaply made
I got this product thinking it would be nice to have a new sketch book as mine were all full. When it arrived today, the front cover has a line in it like it was bent awkwardly. Two of the pages in the back were half pulled out and bent. To turn the sketch book is near impossible. The metal has a long line that prevents the spine from turning back too far. This makes it difficult to utilize. The paper itself feels like a slightly higher computer paper (the smooth surface makes it a bit difficult to draw on. Now, I should have known being so cheap it would be just that- cheap.I wouldn't recommend buying this product, unless you're okay with pages ripped out or removing them yourself.

Decent sketchbook for quick doodles!
The sketchbook itself is pretty study with a hard cover and the pages aren't extremely thick.Pages are slightly textured and it gives a nice feel when drawing with pencils but when I did go over the pencil lining with ink, the pages did bleed through a bit.

Arrived Damaged - Poor quality control
I purchased one of these 100-page plain black sketchbooks a few weeks ago and I had no issues, so I decided to purchase an additional 2 60-page black sketchbooks. Sadly they arrived damaged, with the spiral binding crushed on both books, making them incredibly difficult to use/turn pages. Not only that, but despite each notebook being wrapped in plastic upon arrival, they both have a few marks indicating wear on the covers. The pages inside are bent and upturned near the binding which looks unfinished - which makes it clear that they were damaged before shipping and even packing. Hopefully I can bend the spiral back into place so I can turn the pages. I would go with a more reputable brand such as Strathmore or Canson, they never let me down. Again, the first sketchbook I purchased was great - no issues, decent quality paper for sketching, however, these 2 I just received are indicative of poor quality control and/or packaging.

The Conda Hardcxover Spiral Sketch Pad Sketchbook is the right size and the right price.
The CONDA Hardcover Spiral Sketch Pad Sketchbook.is the right size and the right price for me. I need a sketchbook I can use as a personal journal as well as a place to draw and paint. The paper in this one is just right. It's heavy enough and rough enough to take a not too wet water color, yet it's smooth enough to write on quickly. Soft covers warp and make their presence known, so.I always like a journal/sketchbook with a hard cover because you can turn back the top cover and use the whole thing as a stable ground to write on. The price is good, though I would like to have twice the number of pages in it. But I will write small and hope this one will last.. I have several other mediums I'll use on it such as ink tense pencils and crayons. I imagine it will even take acrylic paint since that is not usually as wet as water-color. Ripped and dirty pages.
At first I was pleased then I was extremely disappointed. It was securely wrapped in plastic with no damage noticeable upon receipt. Hard cover as promised so I knew drawing anywhere would be easy. However, first 4 pages had to be trashed due to a huge rip on them that looked to be from the manufacturer since the outside was sealed and no rips on outer wrapping. I was further disappointed when I noticed most of the pages had black smudges on them from the hard cover of the pad easily rubbing off on them. I won’t be buying this again.

It's ok but if you're looking for a nice quility sketch book, this isn't it.
This drawing book is just ok. The pages are marked so they can be removed from the book, which is great for my purposes. The paper is slightly yellow as you can see be the photo. And the paper quility is not good, rather ruff and thin. However, that works for me because I just wanted a book that I could just do stretches in so that I could then transfer my work to watercolor paper for painting.
