My hair type is thin & fine with an oily scalp and dry ends. When I find a shampoo that works well for me, it usually only works well for a couple of weeks and then dries out my hair. So I waited until I’ve been using this for a month before I left to review and I really wish I had access to shampoo years ago. At first I didn’t like the shampoo because it left my hair feeling squeaky clean after I rinsed it off. I was concerned that it stripped away my hair’s natural oils, which has happened with other shampoos that left my hair squeaky clean in the past. But after I dried it, I realized how soft and moisturized it felt despite not having used a conditioner. I’ve been losing a lot less hair in the shower now, my hair holds to styling better, looks more voluminous, and I no longer have a dry frizzy texture. As long as they don’t change the formula, I’m never going back to another shampoo again.

So, not only is this bar shampoo a serious money saver, but it made my hair feel so shiny and soft! I have used bar shampoos in the past and found that they are either difficult to lather or leave my hair feeling a little stiff. This one lathered so easily and felt very nourishing. Love love love that all the ingredients are clean and natural as well. Makes such a big deal for the health of your hair!I also often shower at the gym/work and love how easy this is to travel with versus bringing a huge bottle.Oh! And it smells so so good! Highly recommend!!!

This shampoo bar did not leave my hair feeling clean but in contrast left it feeling heavy, grimy, and greasy. I used it about 4 times hoping that maybe it was me or that my hair needed to get adjusted to it, but every time and just made me feel unclean and like I needed another shower. It even left residue in my comb and hairbrush after I brushed out my hair, which was sticky and disgusting. Thank goodness for the Free Return policy, this products only saving grace. I loved the thought of a all natural shampoo bar but not at the cost of gross hair. Pictures are of may hair after my hair is dried, but it looks separated and greasy

Minus one star because I dislike the square shape and it doesn't leave a lasting scent. I prefer round soap bars for ease of lathering on your hair & body. The scent is nice and all natural which means it does it jobs of cleaning your hair with good lather. I'm still transitioning to more natural products so take this review as you will. Eventually I'll learn to appreciate that natural products will not have a lasting fragrance and will only clean and not soften hair as would products with chemical products. I'd still recommend this bar to try out. Each person has different expectations. I just felt that it cleans my hair and that's all.

Maybe it's just me but this shampoo leaves my hair with a harsher than I'd like clean. We use soft water but it doesn't help, this stuff leaves a squeaky clean kind of finish rather than a silky finish. We leave it on a soap tray and just by being in the shower, it seems to decompose faster than I'd like and certainly faster than liquid shampoo in a container. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible and I love the sustainability angle but for us, I think we'll go back to the bottle or keep searching for a different kind of bar.

Lately, I have been using a lot of heat products on my hair, causing breakage and my hair to thin and dry. I was looking for a way to add back moisture and hydrate my hair without adding more drying chemicals. I had NO CLUE if this shampoo would work. After ONE rinse, I was very surprised! My hair felt incredibly smooth and did not feel as rough or dry. I even did a light blow dry to see how my hair would be and it looked much softer. Literally... SOLD. Best all natural shampoo! Ohhhh ... and smells really good.

I originally purchased this product for myself, turns out it is a huge hit with the entire family! I was shocked at how clean and moisturized my hair felt after using it. My husband loved it as well and wants one for his shower and an extra for his gym bag! The kids love the concept bc it’s something different, and that makes mom happy bc they are not waisting gobs of shampoo as usual. We are definitely happy with the product and turns out we will be saving some money on shampoo too!

I did lots of research and really liked everything I found on this bar. So I was hopeful upon ordering. I had previously been using a bar shampoo, but wasn't thrilled about some of the ingredients. Well, first time using it my hair was left feeling waxy and I couldn't get my fingers through it (I used my old conditioner bar with it.) And the flakiness was incredible. Hearing that hair could take some time to adjust I pushed myself to use it for a few weeks. Awful. I couldn't straighten my hair as normal. Closer to the roots it was stiff and waxy. Kind of like ironing a starched shirt. The flakiness continued to get worse. Nothing was improving. I sent a note (through Amazon) to the company with no response (maybe they didn't get it?) So I finally called it quits and stopped using it. One wash with my old bar and I'm back to normal. Bummer. My hair is thick, long, wavy Italian hair with a dryish scalp. Maybe it's just not the bar for my hair type. Not sure what to do with it now though.
