All around great tent 5 star product all day.
Update ** 6-25-16I just returned from my trip to WV with just me and my dog. I can't believe that I camped beside the Williams river in the worst storms in Wv in the last 70 years ! This tent went above and beyond my expectations ! It never leaked even though it rained all 6 days ! The wind was up around 70 miles an hour and my tent sat in at least 3 inches of water at some points . One night my tent was bent sideways because of the severe winds and as soon as the wind slowed it popped right back to its original shape . The only water that made it into the tent and that was very little , was from splashing off the puddles and bouncing into the bottom from under the rain fly . I will post a few pics and a video to show just how great this tent really is. It also got several complements from other campers as they passed by on the trail . Ghosts always a bonus when a tent makes you look like a pro to other hardcore hikers/campers 100% best tent I have ever used in bad weather .Prayers for all in WV that have lost everything due to the severe storms and flash flooding .I received my tent today and couldn't be more excited. It arrived quickly and so far it has been everything I was expecting . It was easy to set up and take down and very well put together . You can tell from the quality that it will hold up great in even the worst weather. I will be going on a camping trip soon with my dog and my two older kids (16&14) and we will put this tent to the test . I will update how our trip went when I return. All and all this tent is light Easy to put up and it looks greet too. The little things matter and this comes with stakes that have a point so they slide right into the ground . The seams are all sealed and strong and it is very well ventilated. I will update as soon as we get back !

Nice, big shaded area
It was a little difficult to set up, but no worse than other sorts of shade tents, and it does provide a nice, big, shaded area. I also purchased 2 extra poles that collapsed to ~2-foot lengths, and some sturdier ground pegs. The whole package is light weight and easy to carry in the provided bag. The carry bag is big enough to hold the native contents as well as a hammer, the 2 extra collapsable poles, and the extra pegs. The ground pegs that came with it are soft aluminum, OK for soil, but no good for hard-pan. I haven't tried them on sand yet, but I suspect they are too short to work well in dry beach sand, especially with wind. The tie-down ropes come in 2 different lengths: 2 pairs of longer ropes that work with poles, and 6 pairs of shorter ropes for direct tarp-to-ground connections. The poles that came with it are OK; they have flat bottoms, and could use a larger rubber foot than they have; for sand I might want a very wide foot, something like the snow feet you can get for hiking sticks. The tarp is very light and casts a nice shade. It does shed water, and, like any tent, water collects in any low/loose spot in the canopy. When we first unfolded the tarp, I took photos at each step - those photos were very handy guides when we folded it up again!I've attached 2 photos, one using 4 poles for support, the other is what I call the garden-stake configuration. The 4-poles set up wasn't open enough for my intended purpose, so I added tall shepherd hook garden stakes to prop up the corners and a curved-top garden trellis to prop up the middle, which opened the space to what I was hoping for. The garden-stake configuration was up during a pretty wild and windy thunderstorm: the wind lifted some the tarp's tie-down loops off the ends of their shepherd's hooks, and the central garden trellis fell over, but the poles stayed up OK and kept the tent up. Next time, I'll figure out a way to secure the loops so they can't lift off the end of the hooks.Over all, I am glad I got this, and I'm looking forward to using it again.

Really versatile
I love canopies and this is a high quality tarp for a great price. There are a ton of setup options and it has shed water without any leaks. At this price, you could get a new one every few years/trips depending in amount of usage. I think that if you keep your equipment well maintained, this fly will last for years, no problem. It is also lighter than those comparable name brand products which I consider a good thing because the material is of good quality. If you are responsible and don't abuse your equipment, then you will find this thing to be well worth the money.

So far so good.
So far so good. We ordered this after our last camping trip. I was tired of nature in my food and the hot sun or rain causing me to constantly shift our gear around. I set this up alone last nigh in the dark for the fist time and it was a bit of a pain, but I managed. This morning I tightened everything up and noticed the poles are bending a bit but its holding steady. We had a pretty good rain shower this afternoon and we enjoyed a leisurely meal under the new canopy, keeping dry and comfortable. I'd recommend this to a friend looking for a good buget tarp but I plan to upgrade the poles as soon as possible. We will see how long it lasts....this is a one month vamping excursion so I will update layer.

Incredible performance for the price
Used this for shade and rain protection at the 2017 Summercamp Music Festival. This thing was easy to set up and held in 40 MPH winds during a severe thunderstorm (though I did upgrade the stakes, and I recommend that you do, as well). One of my steel poles folded due to fat and drunk hippy tripping over a guy line and diving into it with his shoulder, so I ditched the folded piece and re-tensioned the lines and it was all good. gave it a good slope that allowed for more wind and rain protection. Not a single drop of rain leaked through the material or seams.I am extremely pleased with this fly and I highly recommend it, but definitely upgrade your stakes, as I do with every tent that I buy.

durable waterproof value!
These are great, and a great value. I bought six of them as footprints for tents for a boy scout troop. They are durable, well made, waterproof and light and a great price. Camping gear doesn't have to be expensive but I so often will pay top dollar to get quality gear because "cheap" gear is useless. So when I'm spending money that is not my own I really need to get good value, and also because I need a lot of gear. I'm buying another six of these. I solidly recommend these.

Super useful piece of kit.
Arrived very quickly and amazingly compact when rolled and stowed. Well constructed piece of kit, nicely finished and reinforced in all the critical places. Be aware this is a large canopy. Nice thing is there are several ways you can configure it depending on needs. Very versatile especially if you want to add a couple of extra poles. Well pleased with this purchase and would recommend!

The groundsheet feels robust enough without being too heavy. Eyelets appear good quality. The bright orange colour could help as a distress item.

High hopes but disappointed
Gave this a trial by fire wild-camping on Dartmoor and unfortunately tore at the edge when being used as a shelter. Luckily had a surplus poncho I could use as a replacement shelter although disappointed as I had high hopes for this as the material seemed light weight but durable. My honest opinion would be to go for something a bit higher quality as I was lucky the weather wasn't terrible and could make do with the poncho shelter for the night.Have requested a refund unfortunately.

Great piece of kit for the money
I've used this a number of times now and in sometimes quite horrendous conditions! It's certainly able to cope with high winds and torrential rain. Excellent piece of kit for the money. The shape makes it a very adaptable tarp. Can be used as an airy shade in hot weather or you can pin the sides to the ground in wet and windy weather to provide a sheltered outdoor communal space. It also packs up small and is very light to carry. My only criticism would be that the poles are not really robust enough. I use a couple of old tent poles that are thicker and stronger.

Not recommended for inclement weather
Material around eyelets tore in stiff breeze. Not recommended for inclement weather.UPDATE: The supplier contacted me with a very nice email and a refund. This was much appreciated. The above was really for advice about usage rather than a complaint. They also promised to contact the manufacturer to look at design changes. First class customer service.

Excellent lightweight Oxford nylon groundsheet
Excellent lightweight Oxford nylon groundsheet. Packs up small and forms a superb footprint for my expedition tent, simply folding the excess fabric under the tent. Having looked at all sorts of material from polyethylene tarpaulin material to tyvek (used in the construction industry) this item was unexpectedly light with a close weave - first class! .

OK., but...
Quite a good groundsheet, however I've struggled to find how it differs in material or construction from the OUTAD groundsheet which is £6 cheaper, so have deducted stars on the ground of comparative value for money.
