Looks ridiculous
I bought the "large," which was about the size of a starter pot (could hold ~3 cups of dirt). The stand seemed silly because the pot was so small. Material was cheap plastic. I just didn't understand...... why have the stand? haha Sorry, returned.

Perfect for a dresser or side table. Finish is more of a matte than shiny. It's easy to set a 4 inch pot inside. There's a drainage hole in the bottom if you want to plant directly into planter.
