Now VIT D-3 1000Iu

The NOW brand Vitamin D3 supplement is a tested (rated as "Approved" by ConsumerLabs.com) product available in the appropriate dosage that I need as a 70+ year old male. Many other Vitamin D3 supplements, available at "Big Box" stores, could be described as "heavy dosage D3" which are sold in sizes in excess of 4,000 IU/day or more. Such "heavy dosage D3" supplements can, if not required by the individual consumer, have negative side effects if consumed over a lengthy period of time. The price of the NOW brand D3 is at the lowest end of the cost per dose range, making it an even better selection for the customer.

Love this stuff. My bloodwork consistently showed that I was low/below threshold of Vitamin D. My doctor prescribed taking 1000-3000 IU of Vitamin D, and now my bloodwork is consistently in range! I take 1000 during summer months, and slowly up dosage to 3000 in dead of winter, then decrease back down as we head into spring and summer. Easy to swallow - tiny pills. And truth be told, they're very satisfying to bite/crunch on, although I suspect I shouldn't actually be doing that. Still gonna keep doing it though because I'm like a cat, and I do what I want.Also, after doing a buttload of research into the most reputable vitamin/supplement suppliers, NOW foods has become my go-to brand. They earn high ratings in quality checks and tests that certify that what they claim is in their product is really in their product. Always a great price, too.

I take D3 because I read that it has anti viral properties. All I can say is that I have not been sick this winter and I’m hoping that this is one of the reasons. I know it is good for overall health as well.

Small pills so very easy to take. Solid value and quality like most of NOW offerings. Delivery was exceptionally fast!

You definitely want to have these in you medical arsenal and take 1-2 daily. They are very cost effective in light of all of the threats to our health that are out there. Stock up.

So far so good. Have only been using these for about 6 months now. It definitely has kept me and my family healthy through the winter up here in the north where we get very little sunlight. I buy these instead of just any D-3 because they do not have soy in them. I wish manufactures would stop using soy and other ingredients (wheat, dairy, gmo, etc) that are known to not be good for human health.

These pills are small and easy to swallow. If you don't get out in the sun daily or are older they are a most. Studies show that if vitamin D levels are low one is at a higher risk for cancer and osteoporosis.
