We got this to quiet down the piano pedals. But tried it in the track of the sliding door and it's great!

I was struggling with a very squeaky sustain pedal on my Nord Grand piano. After doing a bunch of research and getting to the point that it was almost worth the risk if I had to pay for a repair because I screwed it up, I bought this. I disassembled the pedal and used the supplied applicator (looks like a lipstick tester stick) to put the powder where the squeaking was coming from. After putting the pedal back together and plugging it in.... it got rid of nearly all the squeak, lol. It's probably user error or maybe I just needed to apply more, but this is MUCH improved from the previous unbearable squeaking that was happening before. It's also sufficiently easy to use that even someone like me can figure it out.

I'm a bicyclist. A few years ago, having read about the potential benefits of switching from oil-based chain lubricant to wax-based lubricant, I read up on how to make the lube. And I'm really glad I made the switch! Not as simple as just using hot wax after thoroughly cleaning the usual lubricant off a new chain, instead it first requires mixing finely powdered teflon into the hot wax because the teflon provides the lubrication while the wax holds the teflon powder in place.
