Great for when you can't always follow your MCAS diet
It's difficult, sometimes, for people with eating restrictions to find safe food when they're out and about or attending a party. My Functional Medicine provider recommended this supplement to me.I brought the supplement along to a socially-distanced party over the weekend, as I knew the chances of me finding food I could tolerate would be slim-to-none. I used it before I consumed food containing gluten and dairy, and I didn't get sick. Because I've only used this once, I don't know if it will work the next time or the time after that. Those of you with MCAS know how our "goofy" our GI systems are.So far, I'm glad I made the purchase. Though it's spendy, (in my opinion) it's better than taking a chance eating something you think may make you sick --while you're away from home.

Great way to get rid of auto immune diseases caused by excess histamine
Many foods we eat contain histamine and sometimes we consume too much of it depending on what is eaten during the day. Our bodies normally break it down but when overloaded by food or the consumption of wine or beer we can have too much. This can cause our immune system to get over stimulated. Take DAO before wine or beer or foods with excessive histamine. There are only two DAO supplements with this one being one of them. They both work great.

Powder instead of balls are easier to divide a capsule for a toddler/ child
I liked that the contents of the capsules we're ground up so I can divide it easier for my toddler. He has histamine intolerance, but only needs half of the pill so I open it up and pour half in his mouth 15 min. before he eats. The powder is easier to measure by "eyeing it" than when the contents we're balls.

It’s expensive. Too small quantities.
I’d like more pills (90) per bottle. The price is putting it out of range for me even though I need it for my Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).

Pricey
This product has been a lifesaver for me. It's pretty high in cost when you have to take it on a regular basis, will have to cut down on how much I take if possible. Hope it still helps. Bottom line, I LOVE IT !!!!

They work but
I have to take 3 for them to work enough. (Serving size is 1.) So, for the price, I can’t use them for each meal, which is what I need. But since they work, I’ve ordered more, for now, and will be spacing them out.

Say hi to the New Coke disaster
Like all things "new and improved," it isn't actually new and improved. Remember New Coke when the Old Coke was fine? I paid more for this because it actually worked - it doesn't anymore. It is a "hey we have this great product, got great reviews, let's make it cheap junk like that of our competition and ride off that and maybe nobody will notice" marketing ploy. I noticed and I will buy the competition's product at half the price because that is what I am actually getting, the competition's formula.
