Easy installation!
The best part about this cam lock is how simple it is to install! Not that camlocks are necessarily difficult, but this one comes with fewer pieces than your traditional camlock but works just as good. Locking action smooth and the quality I am happy with as well. I will need more of these in the future and plan on buying these again!

Works well on gas cap cover.
I replaced my Jeep’s gas cap cover with a locking one and the one I got had a terrible lock on it. It was difficult to operate even when it was new. But the cover is great, so I got one of these locks to replace the frustrating one and it’s been great. It wasn’t just slap it in. I had to manipulate it some, but the lock mechanism is intact and works very well. We’ll see how it does in the Winter, but I don’t expect any issues.

Perfect cheap locks for a cabinet or drawer
I have a network cabinet for which I lost the key to, I was able to pick the old flat key lock and these locks are nearly perfect for my installation. The only thing I wish was that they came with more cam options because my old lock had a hook style cam with an 8 pointed star lug pattern. I was able to get it working on this lock by using two M8 locking washers on either side of the cam; however, a hook cam designed to fit the shaft on this lock would have been a better solution as my current solution leaves the lock vulnerable to brute force. The only other complaint I have is that the threads on the lock shaft are weak and I was able to strip them on one of the two locks with very little effort while putting the locking nut on. This made one of the two locks completely unusable for me as now the locking nut won't go back on the shaft and neither will any other nuts that I have found. That point alone has me lower my rating to a 4 instead of a 5, otherwise, great locks for the value.

Now I only need ONE KEY!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!
I have a Series 1 56" U.S. General (Harbor Freight) bottom and top box, with an 18" cabinet on one side, and a locker on the other. And I also have a Series 2 27" top and bottom. All said, there are 8 locks with 6 different keys. Four are 180* and the other four are 90*. So, I bought 2 sets (2 locks per set). One set was the 180* and the other was the 90*. All lock sets are keyed the same, so with all 8 locks, I only need one key. Not too sure if all the locks they sell use the same key?!?!?!I needed to modify the cam on two locks. Nothing too crazy. Also, needed to open a two of the lock holes just a smidge. Again, no big deal. The others used the original cam for the box. And, if I need too, I can still reinstall the old locks again. They don't feel as 'high quality' as the locks they replaced. The key kind of wiggles in the lock. But they turn just fine. If I need to drill one out, it's not going to cost me $60 like a Kennedy lock will!

Key is difficult to use
I bought this as a replacement for the one that came on my drop box that broke. This one appears to be a bit sturdier than that one. Installation required me to file the opening out, because it was slightly larger than the original.I don't like the barrel-key. Not sure if it's more or less secure than a traditional key, but the big problem is lining it up to fit in the opening. Since the key isn't marked, you've got to see where there's a notch to determine if you're lining it up correctly.

Short Lock Handle
I recently purchased a mail lock with a short handle and have been using it for a couple of weeks now. Overall, the lock is robust and functional, providing a good level of security for my mailbox. The short handle design is not convenient as it can't reach the other side to make contact, so it can lock. The lack of size options. The current size of the lock, while adequate, doesn't fit all types of mailboxes or doors. In my case, I found that a slightly larger or adjustable size would have been more suitable for my specific mailbox.Including different size options would greatly enhance the versatility of this product, catering to a wider range of mailboxes. In conclusion, while I appreciate the quality and design of this mail lock with a short handle, I wish the manufacturer would consider offering it in multiple sizes. This addition would make it a more accommodating choice for diverse needs and mailbox types.I ended up using the old handle from the old lock as I didn't have the patience to deal with returns.

Good price and quality for a product replacement
Used to replaced the defective key locks for the rifle cabinet and fits perfectly without modification. Comes in a package of two which is half the price of one of the original. Delivery was ahead of time expected.

Garbage
Looks and feels good on the first sight. Once you try and tighten the screws you realize the poor quality of this product.

Hmmm...
Below average quality at best. I ordered a set a while back, it was missing a nut for installation. Then, I ordered a second set not too long ago, I barely manage to install it without stripping the tread ( I use to be a automotive technician...). After that, I realised that I could open both ordered sets with the same key. I'm not very impressed.
