These do the job
These hand braces are a little cumbersome, but my hands did feel better after wearing them through the night. These really work well and they’re pretty comfortable.

Top quality
I have been wearing a hand brace for over a year because of arthritis. I ended up having to have surgery, and after the cast came off, the doctor is having me to wear the brace until after it heals and PTherapy. The old one is very well-worn to say the least, but insurance will not replace for another year. Out of pocket for the one at the orthopedic office cost $250. This one from Amazon was only a fraction at a little over $20., and they are almost identical.

Very sturdy and supportive!
The media could not be loaded. Very secure and supportive, very adjustable. However, the lining inside is thin and not at all well padded. It's hefty, but I like it, as I'm wearing it during sleep to immobilize my thumb and wrist. There are four straps firmly attached (I may trim them as the top ones are long if you can tell, but I ordered a size too large). Even though I should have ordered a smaller size (wasn't paying attention) it fits fine. It stays in place! The internal supports are metal, removable, and possibly bendable if you really need. Even the lining between the straps and arm is adjustable! (First part of vid) Seems breathable enough.Unfortunately there's no branding besides "kefit" on the bag, manufacturer "Zhangzhou Recaring Medical Instrument CO., LTD." Good value overall, I'll just have to cushion it more against my skin.

Good Brace. Does a good job keeping your thumb immobile.
About 8 weeks ago I fell & hurt my hand and thumb. I went to my doctor and got $188 brace... I stopped wearing it because my thumb started feeling better...A few days before Christmas my thumb started really hurting again badly and I could not find that $188 brace to save my soul...So I went on Amazon and I found this brace. I ordered a large because I'm a plus size gal. The thumb splint fits well & the wrist fits well. It's a little tight on the mid-forearm (I had to pull hard on the velcro strap to get it to reach the scratchy part of the velcro) but it's not uncomfortable. I did have to trim the velcro straps for the thumb and the wrist because they were too long... But that was easy. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the one I got through my health insurance...I've noticed in some of the other reviews people complaining that their thumb doesn't move in this particular brace... That's literally the whole point of the thumb splint. It's to keep your thumb immobile... Which is what I needed.

Moderately supportive
I badly sprained my wrist and thumb recently in a fall. The splint the E.R. provided only protected my wrist, so I bought this to try. It did well for the thumb, but doesn't come up far enough on the forearm to adequately support a sprained wrist. Also, after wearing it for a few hours, my hand and wrist began to itch like crazy from something in the lining, so I had to return it.

Incredible fit
Read all of tbe reviews prior to purchasing. I have had it for 24 hours and it's literally improved my intense tendonitis pain in my left thumb/wrist after sleeping with it on for 10 hours. I work with computers for my job so I'm looking forward to wearing it 8 hours a day. I did cut off the strap that went around the thumb because it was worthless but having the metal braces on the wrist and thumb relieves so much pain from the get-go. Also I ordered the medium. I also have carpal tunnel in both hands. I have my right thumb under control with compression gloves. Excellent brace over the hideous one my Occupational Therapist wanted me to wear.

Large, my left thumb!
Thumb fabric is too long and the forward velcro hooks strip is much too short to be useful at all. I have to crush my hand to even get close to hooking them. The sock is uncomfortably tight. Size L Is more like a medium. Sending both of them back.
