MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust System 15666: Cat-Back, Street Series

Put this on my 2003 Tahoe Z71, fit great, had a problem with one broken clamp but Magnaflow shipped another overnight for free! Great customer service. This exhaust sounded so good, when I drove it right after installing it I heard a camaro that I thought sounded good, then I realized it was my Tahoe! I don't know how I got it at this price but I bought it for $266 plus tax, free shipping! Free shipping in a box that I could live in if my house burned down! I don't know that I would buy this for the $500 something price that it is now, BUT that is because I'm cheap! I installed a K&N fipk kit and it now has a awful drone noise right at 2000-2300 rpms under light throttle that is enough to make you wish your were deaf but if you can get used to it, it sounds GREAT from outside the vehicle.

I purchased this system to replace the stock system that was going bad. I wanted an all stainless steel system so that I would never have to replace it again, since I plan on keeping my Tahoe for a long time. I also wanted a little bit more of a "meaner" sound from the truck. I think that with this system, I achieved both. The system is beautifully finished,(it's a shame that you can't see anthing but the tip) and it sounds great! This is my family vehicle, so I didn't want it to sound too loud. The sound is just right, a nice snarle at start up, good rumble during acceleration, but no drone at highway speeds. It is finished off with a beautiful exhaust tip that really sets off the truck. Installation was very straight forward and one of the easiest additions that I have done. The hardest part was the removal of the old rusty system. I highly recommend this product!

To be honest if you’re looking to be rowdy like I was this isn’t the exhaust you want. It’s really quite but the quality of the exhaust is really good. Very easy to install. I recommend this to someone that just wants a little bit more than OEM.

I bought this system for my 2001 Chevy Tahoe and its such an improvement! It has a great rumble at startup and slowly fades to a little louder than stock. It stays nice and quiet until you get up to about 2000-2200 rpms and then it has a great sound, especially when coupled with an intake kit (i have the  K&N 57-3023-1 Fuel Injection Performance Kit Gen2 Air Intake Kit , and its great). I bought this especially because i heard that it was quiet at low RPMs which is what you want so you won't get tired of hearing the loud mufflers when just cruising. This is the 2nd car I've put Magnaflow on and they're both excellent! Both have K&N intakes as well, and the two together make your car sound awesome, and the extra mpg, and 10 horsepower and 10 ft.lbs torque are added extras! I highly recommend this product.

Do t get me wrong, the sound and quality is great. But I'm giving 3 stars because Amazon garage said this would fit my 2004 Tahoe. The installation instructions say it's for a 2000-2003 Tahoe. The hangers don't exactly line up like the factory exhaust. One of them is barely hanging on. The other two were closer, but still doesn't seem like a direct fit. Amazon definitely dropped the ball on this one.

04 tahoe 4x4. Bolts right up to y pipe. Solid feel on install. The real deal. Not overly loud , just right papa bear.

Quality is great but it said it would fit my 08 tahoe which it didn't the front extension pipe only works for older tahoe.

I had my mechanic (son-n-law) install. Seemed to an easy installation. Great sound, but my wife wonders if I ever grow up, seventy one years old. I had to trim a corner off the spare tire carrier bracket on the second day, a little rattle. Everything is great now, I couldn't be more pleased.
