Fritz Turbo Start 700 Freshwater (16 oz)

The price on this is high, BUT it WORKS!! I see people saying it wasnt delivered with an ice pack (mine wasn't either) it says as long as its not in extreme temps for long periods of time its fine. I used it when it got here and then put it straight in my fridge. It single handly saved my whole 45 gallon tank. I did a water change like usual, but damaged my good bacteria and restarted the cycle. My seachem ammonia alert badges showed traces of ammonia and I tested and surely had some. The next day my ammonia was at 4ppm... did daily water changes until this showed up. My ammonia climbed and eventually my nirtires were super dark purple. I thought it was going to be a lost cause. I trusted Seachem Prime to keep detoxifying the ammonia and nitrites. Last ditch effort I got this delivered the afternoon of April 22nd. Used just the recommended dosage the next day my ammonia was hardly detected and the nitrites were light purple. Used another dosage of this on the 23rd tested a few hours later and literally everything was back to normal besides nitrates being like 30ppm. I did a water change on the 24th and tested again and my ammonia is 0ppm nitrites are 0ppm Nitrates are 5ppm!!! This stuff saved my tank in basically a day and a half!! I know its pricey, but so is buying all new fish! Lol I will 100% buy this stuff again if I ever need it in an emergency.

I had trouble cycling my tank so I ordered and used FritzZyme Turbo start 700 I ordered it from Amazon/Baybridge Aquarium in the summer months it came packed with ice and it worked like magic! I had another tank months later so I called Baybridge Aquarium but I forgot about the time difference ( I am on the East coast, they are on the West coast.) Anyways I left a message and they got back to me immediately. They answered my questions about cycling my tank and what caused it to uncycle. Also they are extremely knowledgeable and answered a number of questions I had about my other tanks and steered me away from unnecessary products that I had wanted to buy from them that they told me I did not need. They are true fish experts who are willing to answer all of your questions to help you keep your aquarium life healthy and happy 😊.They are not trying to just get sales, they are trying to get healthy fish 🐟 🥰🐌 Do not hesitate to buy this product A++++

I'm accidentally damaged my cycle in my 65 gallon tank and for over two weeks my Nitrites were floating between .25 ppm and 1 ppm no matter what. Ammonia was still 0, was still getting Nitrates but I couldn't get the bacteria to catch up enough to keep the Nitrites at 0. I tried everything, small water changes, larger water changes, just letting it be and putting in Zyme 7. Nothing had an effect whatsoever. I ordered this as a last ditch effort before rehoming my fish and starting over. I put 4 oz in and it literally fixed it overnight. 0 ppm Nitrites for the first time in weeks. I'll be monitoring it closely of course but as of right now this stuff is a godsend.

I have always been a little skeptical in bacteria in a bottle because they usually don't work for me. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. It arrived in a insulated Styrofoam box, very well packaged. When I opened the bottle it didn't have the earthy smell like some reviews described, it smelled bad. Didn't have fish in the tank yet so I put in fritz pro ammonium chloride, and ammonia tested at 4ppm. Dumped in the bacteria and tested 2-3 times a day. After about 12 hours I seen the first drop in ammonia, and always a little lower on each testing. 48 hours after dumping bottle in the tank read 0 Ammonia, 0 nitrite, 30 nitrate. I bought this with low expectations, but all said and done, I will by this for every nitrogen cycle in the future. My tank is 150 gallon and I dumped in a whole 16oz bottle.

Fritz expressly states that this product must be refrigerated but this arrived at my home without any cooling packs on a 90 degree day.Do not ignore this review! You will receive very expensive and very dead bacteria in a bottle.

To me this is not worth the money. Couldn't tell it did anything more any faster than if I didn't use it.

Works well.

After a month of trying to cycle my axolotls tank this got it done in 2 weeks! Definitely would get it again
