Has enough to take and go
Has enough in it where you can just walk out the door and be fine. Its easy to add a few things without going over on weight. The backpack itself is pretty spectacular.I don't know what to else to say other than it came with everything and I really am happy with it. I do wish there were multiple emergency guides but that's solvable. The individual waters are interesting but made sense. Only thing I thought would make this more functional is a small mess kit or some time of small container(s).Great emergency kit but not a survival kit.

Expect the Unexpected
Honestly, I only thought of buying something like this when we recently had a black out for 2 hours in our neighborhood. We have a 3 year old & an almost 3 month old, suddenly realized my husband & I were NOT prepared for the unexpected. This is great to have, technically I am able to put everything that came with the 4 person (2)backpacks into one (but definitely has a weight to it). I read reviews before purchasing; one I saw was the food/water was going to expire soon (might happen to anyone & I took the chance). This is a great started bag (some things you might not personally need, for us it's the shaving cream & razors). Definitely adding more items (clothes for the kids, diapers, medical cards, etc).Keep you & your family safe everyone; you never know what to expect.

Great Value & Roomy
Went through our bags last night to make sure everything was in them. Found everything PLUS gloves and water filtering bag. It's great, bags have everything our family would need in an emergency. I really like the fact that there's still enough room to add. Lots of pockets and zippers. We tried them on and took a walk to make sure we could handle the weight, it's sturdy and easy to carry.

Great for *starting* your emergency backpack / getaway kit.
Thank you for the helpful information, reviewers. This was a great starter-point for my emergency / getaway / disaster kit. Great backpack. Then I took it from there (thanks for reviewer recommendations and a number of online informational sources). I bought a FOUR-person set for just TWO people (as recommended). The food bars are super-heavy, so I just left a few in each pack. Assembled my own first-aid kits to fit inside each, set the micro-waters aside for the cat's kit (can use this + another water filtration container that I bought for each kit instead). I'm not a survivalist / won't have below-freezing situations. So I swapped out / added in things that best fit my climate (including overnight / emergency shelter and sleeping). Added things like work gloves, smaller powerful flashlights, hygiene and wellness stuff, meds, and documentation (on flash drive). However, as I say, this set was a great beginning - glad I got it. Hope I'll never have to use it ;o)

Excellent kit for emergencies or disasters
i just got the 4-person kit today and looked through it. This kit has just about everything you need for emergencies or disasters. They include a pamphlet that says you should add matches, medicines, and whatever else you may need. We live in Seattle, where the odds are high that we'll have a seriously major earthquake in the next few decades. It's good to have piece of mind that we'll be able to take care of ourselves for a few days while FEMA gets its act together.I especially like that the food bars and water were made in June 2016 and will last through 2021. Nice! I'm sure the bars don't taste like fine cuisine, but that will be the least of my worries in a disaster. The backpacks are of good quality too with a ton of pockets that are not filled so you can fill them yourselves.

Go Bags for the right price.
This product is complete and ready to go in case of any emergency if you want to call it the great starter bag cause all you need is to add things that make it personal to your needs if you have special needs or a particular need. This has more than the basic go bags out there, and each item inside are of good quality as well as practical for any circumstances that can arise. Don’t forget the BONUS item that is great value for free. This is a Good Product.

This is a very good product and it is worth the price.
I really love the Emergency Zone 4-person Survival kits. The bags are very sturdy. There is plenty of room to add additional personal items. Everything was included in the bags as described. I recommended these bags to family and friends and they purchased them as well. Delivery was fast. At least this will help us to be prepared in case of a disaster. Overall my family is very pleased with this purchase.
