Depends. It does have realistic Hammond, Vox, Farida and 2 other 1960s combo organs. But it has mini keys, and composers may prefer full-size and full 88 notes, as many composers prefer a wider range and a piano. I love mine because it goes anywhere and if I have an idea I can try it out. Much depends on your son's preference between organ and piano. No piano in the YC.

Since this is a synthesizer, does it has the 128 other instrument sounds besides piano?
