UPDATE: after one year of having this laptop I gotta say this purchase was worth it every dollar, since first day I have used this laptop to work, I use it 6 days a week at least for 10 hours everyday and till today (October 2015) the battery keeps working perfectly as when I received it, I use it for virtualize servers and other OS's and I use it to play as well. [OLD REVIEW]Have to say that this is a great laptop, the battery life is amazing it lasts sometimes 'till 6 to 7 hours, speakers sound great, I'm not comfortable with the keyboard but is okay by now, the delivery was right, excellent product I'd recommend this laptop to people is looking for a new one, everything was as expected.

After seeing the configuration I got impressed for this price and also Its mentioned as Acer Factory Refurbished, Which gives the more confidence on getting this productBut here are the Problems with this Product - No Original Charge was given with the package - There are some scratches which gave look that its not kind of new or Factory Refurbished - Battery backup is worst last hardly for 2 hrs, Even in review every one has mentioned as it is good, But with the product which I got it is not true. - Picture/Display quality is not good, if you use this laptop then only it can be identified - Getting Heated pretty fast. Which is not expected from Ultra books - It doesnt have the capability of i7 performance

This laptop is great! Large responsive touchscreen, thin profile and excellent battery life. Keyboard takes some adjusting. Performance is hindered by its hard drive. I added a mSATA SSD and performance improved dramatically.

What I like: hard drive space, touch screen, long-lasting battery. Drawbacks: touchpad is a little wonky (hard to use and takes some getting used to), the speakers are faulty; they make random noises. It's strange considering that they have stellar sound quality but they're not reliable at all.

I prefer to wait awhile before making a review so I have a chance to get to know the laptop before reviewing it. This is slim, Light and solid, it runs cool and has great battery life. It's a great laptop for the price, I see people giving lower ratings for a lap top because they dislike windows 8. I'm somewhat under whelmed by windows 8 as well but that doesn't have anything to do with how the laptops preform (hardware wise). If I were to change anything on this it would have been to have a hybrid drive but then it would have cost more. I would definitely recommend this for the typical (90%) laptop user.

Worst computer ever. Before i had a $300 dell labtoo that lasted me 3 years without a problem till i drop it. This piece of crap started crashing the first month. It would take up to 3 minutes to boot up. And the damn touch screen stopped working. When in windows 8.1 search option it would take 20 minutes to look for a file. Even though im inly using 50gs out of 500...Camera drivers got deleted and the wifi is horrible it would disconnect all the time. Someone has to tell this company to stop selling toy labtops as real ones. Because serious people do work and depent on having a reliable unit. Not one thats acts up whenever it wants.. ohh and the worst part is calling customer service and talking to an indian guy who didnt understood what i was saying and kept repeating after me.
