Quality Product

My scanner came with a slide (4 slides) media holder and a film strip (6 slides) media holder. This package is two film strip media holder. So, I wasted my money, because I wanted two slide media holders.

Works great!

These work great and allow me to load a couple of strips while one is in the scanner. They seem well made and sturdy.

I use a mirrorless camera and macro lens with a tripod to digitize old 35mm film negatives, and bought these to hold the film in a fixture I built with a backlight. They do a fairly good job of that, but they don't clamp as tight as I'd like - I find I have to put a small weight on top of the Plustek holder on either side of the negative I'm currently imaging to keep it flat. I don't know if I can criticize the holders for this since I'm not using them the way the manufacturer intended (they're meant for a film scanner) but it's still a minor issue. Otherwise they work OK.

I purchased this item so I could copy my 35 negatives on a light board with my camera. Perfect for my use, they do the trick and hold the neg flat in place white I photograph the frame with my DSLR.
