The alcohol in it makes it difficult to apply to dry hair because it dries so quickly. But it’s a strong hold.

I used to buy this paste back in Europe and luckily it's available here on Amazon. I love that it's lightweight and that you only need a little to go a long way. I had one can of this last me about 6 months where I used it almost every day. The scent is very pleasant and isn't sticky on the hands. I also noticed that if I ever left it out that it wouldn't get hard or brittle. It leaves your hair with a matte finish. I just wish it cost less since it's half the price back in Europe. Other than that my favorite hair paste.

It can look a little flaky, so it has to be mixed well in the hair. I love the smell!

I love this extreme matte clay and i have been using it for several years. Great hold and no flaking.

I have recently used almost 20 different hair products (as i was trying to find a product which defines me lol) and feel very comfortable writing this review. This product has good hold and matte finish which is what you expect from a matte clay. I applied it on dry hair and it looked cool and I am sure if you apply on wet hair and blow dry, it would look good. But the worst thing which is really intolerable for me is water melon smell of this product. I had to take 5 tablets to get rid of the headache which i had from this product.If you have loss of sense of smell, or you like smell of water melon, this is the product to go.

Good hold with out leaving your hair all waxy
