Excellent replacement
I have no idea how long the original switch had been in use (I bought my house in 2013) but the switch failed in 2019, the contact points just fell apart. Replacing it with this was flawless and exceedingly easy. I would highly recommend searching on Youtube for a video replacing your switch. Take a pic of the old switch's wiring set up before you disconnect, and make sure you shut off the breaker to the switch/pump before you start working. After connecting and restarting the pump, it has worked flawlessly and gives a nice consistent pressure to the entire house. We can flush the toilet, run the washer and take a shower with no drop in water pressure now, which I assume we had the drop previously because the old switch was starting to fail.In any event, excellent value, excellent product and very fast delivery. Installation took less than 10 minutes.

Worked very well; .....almost
I replaced the old pressure switch when the well pump was replaced. After a few days, the contacts started chattering before making good contact. So the pump was quickly cycling on and off about 4 or 5 times before remaining on. This lead to a rumbling in the house when the kicked on.Google revealed that others have had the same issue. So I ordered a new set of points. In the mean time I used a tiny metal file to clean the contacts. It is working perfectly now, so I'm not going to install the new points until needed. Hope this helps someone.

Differential / Cut-in didn’t respond well to adjustment
Easy to install, and cheap. Much improved over the failed switch that was on the system. The failed unit had a fixed DP, that would not cut in until pressure was extremely low (~5 psi).Unfortunately for this new unit, adjusting the screw to either end of its range did not have a significant effect on the cut in pressure. It is right around 25, and works much better. So I am happy

Super Well Parts Replacement Value
I used this part in a last ditch effort to avoid costly repairs to my well or well pump of unknown age and depth. We had water, but weird pressure issues. I researched the problem and worked on the pressure tank and well pump switch (this product). Although the problem improved, it did not resolve. Then, I replaced this part. With a normal adjustment, everything is back to working. I called a plumber, he recommended a well guy as my next step. Boy am I glad I did my homework and replaced a part an electrician would have known about. I saved house call $ diagnostics three times over. I will purchase more parts in the future if I need them.

Do it yourself and save
I have a residential well and fire ants have shorted out the pressure switch twice. The well company charges a service fee plus price of switch. All I do now when my well won't work is turn off the electricity at the electric panel and change the switch myself. If the switch has ants around it and has burnt marks on it then you can be sure it is fried. I keep a spare on hand so i will be prepared.

Works great
I have well water and these things build up rusty water residue every 10 years or so. Cheap and easy to replace, works like a charm and easy to adjust. See Youtube for replacement videos.*Turn off power before replacing. You can get seriously injured as most pumps are 240v*
