Great pot for hiking.
This is the second Olicamp pot I purchased. The first was for me, and the 2nd was a gift. This is a great little pot, and functioned perfectly on the trail. Here's the good...The pot is sized to hold both a gas fuel can and my stove, so the whole kit packs well. Place the fuel can in upside down (valve facing down), stove on top of that, and top it off with the plastic lid.The handles functioned perfectly. Rubber coated for easy grip, and were very sturdy when pouring water for coffee and oatmeal. The finned heat exchanger at the bottom works great. Boil times are fast. The rubber/plastic lid is heat resistant and easy to handle. It feels a bit flimsy, but did the job well. Easy to remove for use.Very secure on top of my stove. No issues with the pot rocking around on top.The not so good...The lid really doesn't snap securely to the top. This is a good thing when boiling water because it allows for removal without effort. It's bad when not in use because it's used to hold the fuel can and stove when it's in my pack. I just used a large rubber band to hold it in place. Pretty minor issue.Overall this is a well thought out design at a great price. I'm sure this will last me a lifetime.

Great pot, boils water fast with the right stove.
I bought this pot to start back packing with. The pot is very light weight, but feels sturdy. I was able to boil 16 oz of cold water from my tap in 1:48 using my miniature titanium ultra-light stove, which happens to fit inside the inner diameter of the heat exchanger. I don't think I would have the same efficiency if I had a larger stove. The pot has graduated measurements etched on the side for easy measuring in the field, and they are accurate.Others have reported that the lid is either too tight or too loose. My lid fits snug, but I don't feel I have any problems removing the lid. Others have reported problems with the lid melting. I Have not had this experience. The pot came with a draw string mesh bag which I did not see advertised anywhere on the site and was a nice surprise. I am able to fit my fuel canister tripod in the bottom of the pot with the fuel canister upside down on the tripod with room to store my pot scrubber (also included with this pot), stove, and matches. With all this inside and the lid on, I can then place a small stainless steel cup upside down on the lid (and house more items in the cup) with the mesh bag fitting over the whole package to keep it all together.Overall, this is a great pot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good lightweight backpacking pot.

Good performance, measured weights of included items
Initial review: Just got this pot and haven't used it yet but it looks pretty good and should be good for my intended primary usage of backpacking and secondarily car camping. It's fairly lightweight but not as light as titanium. It does have the fins on the bottom that should transfer heat into the pot quicker, hopefully reducing boil times and fuel consumption. The metal is thin, so it appears more lightweight than super-durable. I purchased it because it's a less expensive pot with the "heat transfer system" on the bottom to reduce boil times and it's fairly lightweight. If you're looking for heavy duty cookware for base camp or car camping, this is not it. If you're looking for lightweight gear to spend less and use less fuel while backpacking, this feels like a good option. I'll update this review if I have any issues with durability during usage.I measured my pot on an iBal 201 electronic scale.Pot only: 169.64g (5.98oz)Lid only: 34.05g (1.20oz)Sponge: 4.37g (0.15oz)Mesh Bag: 15.91g (0.56oz)Total weight (all items): 225g (7.9oz)(I did purchase a 3rd party titanium lid as a lightweight replacement for the silicone lid. Edit: That only saved me 10 grams, so not cost effective.)Update (September 2023): I tested this pot out last weekend, paired with an MSR PocketRocket Deluxe and I was not disappointed. I didn't time it but boil times were surprisingly quick. Even with the stove at full throttle, I didn't feel heat coming up the sides of the pot, meaning the base was absorbing the heat and channeling it into the water. No issues with durability.

Good wannabe Jetboil system
Used this pretty well so far with a Pocket Rocket Deluxe stove. The rubber coating on the handles does feel a little cheap but not a big deal. The lid works well and doesn’t come across as a cheap afterthought. Heat exchanger seems to be fitted well. Much faster boil times and increase fuel efficiency over my Toaks 750ml titanium. Both have their place as the Toaks is lighter and smaller. Nest in an 8 oz fuel cansister. Slightly question the finish durability but seems to be doing fine. If you want a more cost efficient and likely lighter jet boil alternative (except for the stash model) this does the trick.

Boils water much quicker
I have tried both this version and the standard version from this manufacturer. Great quality and value. Love the pot. The heat transfer system definitely makes a difference - cuts boil time nearly in half. You do have to be careful to use it with a stove that is either small enough to fit inside the heat ring or large for the heat ring to sit on. Anything in between can make balancing the pot a bit precarious.
