Vector Men's BJJ Gi with Bonus White Belt and Ripstop Pants for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, and Judo - Kimono Style

First off this is NOT IBJJF approved. Pretty much the only concern I had otherwise I really like the weight and feel of this gi. It's super breathable so your not drowning in sweat as much. It fits surprisingly well, I'm 5'10" around 255 with intent to lose more so the pants fit little snug at first (I am male with some nice big birth-giving hips as I like to call them) so it will only fit better from here.

I really really wanted to keep this gi, the style, looks, feel of the fabric, oh and it looked tough and well-made. I don't know what it is, I am 6'2, 185 pounds and have the darnedest time finding a Gi that will fit my shoulders and chest. It's unfortunate, but my unlucky streak prevailed here.

I bought this kimono in black for my oldest son to do BJJ. It has held up to biweekly sessions for over a year now. In fact, it has done so well that when my younger son finally outgrew kids size kimonos, (5'2" 127 lbs) I bought him a white one in A0, and he likes it more than the other brand kids gi he was using before. I would highly recommend this kimono, especially in light of the price point. I even bought one for myself when I started taking classes.

After about 12 hours of total mat time with this gi, the crotch tore while I had a guy in my half guard. I spent the rest of the class with a big hole in my pants. It is basically impossible to look cool when you have that going on.I otherwise like the gi. It's too bad the fabric in the pants isn't up to the rigors of BJJ.

Excellent GI for Brazilian Jui Jitsu. I have trained on and off for 12 years. I bought this GI for under $50. The jacket is very durable and tough. Pants are light weight and durable. I've owned several GIs over the years and this one was great for the price. Its lightweight and comfortable but tough. I am 5'9" 185 lbs, 32 waist 44 shoulders. I bought the A2 size. It is still very roomy. Wash cold water and hang dry. My only complaint was the belt that came with it was too small. Fortunately I had my own belt anyway.

Gi fits properly and is mostly comfortable. Only problem I have, and it's not a big deal, is the pants are pretty rigid. They remind me of a canvas tarp. I am hoping after repeated rolls and washings, they'll soften up. Only wore it 3 or 4 times so far. Aside from this small critique, it's a good product, especially for the cost.

Loved this gi, although a bit heavy and it says lightweight. Washed it the first time in cold water and it totally shrunk. Air dried it then couple days later just threw it in the dryer to get wrinkles out and it totally shrunk. Enough to were it cannot be worn. I am very disappointed.

This is the initial review, I will edit when it's been tested a bit. Initial assessment is as follows. The fit seems to be right on out of the box. Checked out collars and stitching, and seems to be good quality. Pants the right length, sleeves a good length for shrinkage. Just washed in cold water and line dried. Will post an edit when I check it out.

Second time I've brought from here and I'm even more impressed than the first time.My son says this Gi is super comfortable! It's washed well and looks fantastic on! I wouldn't buy from anywhere else!Thank you

This gi is a good option if you're starting off bjj, due to its price. If you have nothing to compare this gi to, then you might not find anything wrong with it. However once you compare it to a "normal" price gi on the £100 range, this gi falls flat in comfort, style and fit. Like I mentioned, nothing wrong for a first gi if you're trying it out for the first few months. But if you have the means, I'd recommend using a better gi.

Seems to be a very good piece of kit for the money. Worn it once so far and it’s been great. It’s been washed after first use on cold, doesn’t seem to have affected the quality much at all.Defo worth the money for a starter kit. I’m pleased with it.

Purchased for new BJJ class I attended. It arrived later than advised however I contacted Vector Sports who responded within a few hours and I learnt this was down to amazon the distributor and later got an email from amazon to confirm this. That aside very pleased with the gi, perfect fit (I got an A3 and am 6'2" and 100KG), quality is really good and it is light weight which I want but tough. Very pleased.

Great quality, keeps colour when washed, minimal if any shrinkage. Very light. Perfect starter Gi for anyone but also compares well with more established branded gi’s.

Cheap, comes packages with a belt and two months use hasn't shown any tear or damage.

Very thick and durable. Was my first Gi, great quality, had to buy a thinner one for the summer training though. Think this will last a long time, It is very tough! People had rashes after rubbing on me.

Great lightweight, but strong GI - competed in mine this past weekend and it was everything I could have asked for from a reasonably priced GI - happy days!

Ordered on Thursday, it arrived Saturday! Love this gi, it's light, and very comfortable, but very strong. Washed it on a cold wash and left to dry, it's still fine. Im definitely going to order another from this seller

This is a light gi but the a2 comes up large so will take some washing to get to a decent fit

I'm a 6'2" 280lb dude and getting a light weight gi has been a headache for me, this gi fits me perfectly and even has room for my dad gut. Nice and light, good construction, the pants are very comfortable and the whole thing breathes very nicely when rolling.
