Very pretty puzzle with good size pieces
Gave this as a gift to my father-in-law. He liked the bigger pieces & was easier. He use to like a 1000 piece but his eyes aren't like they use to be so the 300 hundred count was just right. He got it all but together but 8 or 9 pieces of which the bog ate! Oh well that's a dog for ya!

Keeping 92 year old Dad busy with something to do
I bought this puzzle for my 92 year old father who always needs something to do to keep busy. He hadn't done a puzzle since he was a kid, and he immediately open the box when I gave it to him for his 92nd birthday. Since he has trouble with his hands, this 300 large piece puzzle is working out very well for him. I thought that since it is only 300 pieces that it would be very easy, but I was wrong and it is pleasantly challenging. The pieces are of all different shapes and sizes so it makes it more interesting in trying to put it together. I am very pleased that this nice puzzle is giving him something to get interested in and enjoyable and to keep him occupied instead of wondering what to do with his time. I will definetlly buy him another one in the future.

Beautiful Scene to Put Together - Challenging Puzzle with Odd Shapes
This puzzle consists of a lovely, scenic painting. If you look closely, you can see it was painted on canvas. The pieces are uniquely different with odd shapes; which is part and parcel of the Bits and Pieces puzzles. Some people may enjoy that but some people may prefer your more traditional puzzle shaped pieces. It's a personal preference. Because of the odd shapes, on the plus side, it can be easier to find the shapes that go where they need to. On the negative side, at times, the odd shapes make it quite difficult to find what works. Maybe the better word to use here is "challenging". I did this with my 90-year old mother. She was able to find some pieces to fit - it just took awhile. She prefers doing it with myself or my brother. I would say overall, it's a bit on the more difficult, uh, "challenging" side, as beautiful a scene as it is. I adore the painting! Wish I lived in a house by the sea like that!!! It's really a dreamy puzzle.

excellent
I like this puzzle a lot even though it took a little over a week to finish it. This is a 500 piece puzzle and this was my first experience with a 500 piece puzzle. But I think I can get it done faster the next time I work on it.
