Wonderful sour dough
If you love sour dough, this is royalty. So fresh & yummy. Nicely sour. Having lived in the San Francisco area for many years. I KNOW sour dough and this is THE BEST.

Great healthy bread choice!!!
What excellent tasting old fashion bread. What bread use to taste like back in the 70's and before. I mailed fresh from baking and arrives quickly. Stores nice in freezer until ready to thaw and brown in the oven.

Best sourdough
Better that the stuff I have been buying. Has that wonderful crunch on the outside and soft and chewy inside that I like. I will definitely keep ordering

Sour dough bread
Boudin sour dough bread is wonderful. Really came through with the sour dough flavor, nothing like the bread in store bakeries. It's crunchy on the out side and nice and chewy, soft and the middle.Arrived on time and well wrapped even though it was Christmas time; I will definitely purchase more of this great sour dough bread from Boudin & Sons.

Doesn’t smell like sourdough bread
I am disappointed in these loaves of supposed sourdough bread. They came in a plastic bag that said French bread on it. That is not what I wanted. When I got them out of the plastic bug I smelled them and then cut then up in slices because I wanted to freeze them for later use. I could not tell by the smell that it was sourdough bread. So, in my opinion they are not what I wanted. I have not tried any of it yet, but I will. Sourdough bread in my opinion makes grilled cheese sandwiches that can’t be beat. I was hoping that these would be like the Trader Joe label bread, but they are not. I will not order these again.

Mediocre
Mediocre sourdough. Not worth the cost. For years a Vermont bakery, Gerrards, produced a sourdough that was a work of art until its founder and baker passed. I have a friend who makes wonderful sourdough. After eating both, your stomach felt/feels good. Both are spongier and moister than this bread. To be clear, Boudin's is not terrible or bad, or anything like that. It's okay. It is like the sourdough you might buy in your local supermarket.
