Great Keyboard for Light Gaming and Everything Else!
When purchasing this keyboard, my needs were something that allowed for more comfortability than my regular laptop keyboard, added aesthetic to my desk setup, and performed well. This Razer Cynosa Lite was EXACTLY what I was looking for and more. I was really happy with the price (first and foremost) and the added bonus of having the Razer brand. I love the feel and sound of the keyboard and the customizable backlighting as well. Even in full light exposure, the backlighting is still visible! So happy I went with the Cynosa Lite!

Excellent!
Exactly what I was looking for for the price it works awesome, and it has its own software. My only qualm is that some of the led lights are super dim for some reason like the keys are out of reach of the light. But I bought it for the keyboard not the lights, we're just a bonus so I would definitely suggest.

Good... could be Great with minor tweaks...
The Razer Cynosa Lite Gaming Keyboard is an exceptional value in the razer lineup. The heft and feel of the keyboard let's you know it is a substantial piece of gear. The keys are nice and tactile. Not too squishy and not to stiff. The layout is nice and standard, no surprises. the multimedia keys are well integrated into the F-key row. The height, top to bottom, feels a little narrow compared to previous keyboards I've used, but is adequate. The lighting is where the Razer Cynosa Lite falls short. the Synapse software you use to control the RGB is a little wonky. It's not very intuitive for people who aren't used to RGB software, or who have used other RGB software that wasn't made by Razer. Also, the lighting is really dim. I come from using a cheap as you can find RGB keyboard that had lighting that you could use as a nightlight to see your way around in the dark, and the Cynosa falls short by A LOT. The white lighting is adequate but as with the other colors I tried, it lights up about 80% of the lettering on the key and the top 20% seems unlit or under lit. I'm not a typist and don't have the keyboard layout memorized. I have to look at the keyboard and peck around while typing. Not being able to see the lettering well, hinders the pace at which I can type. The Synapse software is a bit difficult to figure out, and I can't figure out how to set specific keys to have a different color. ie; WASD in Red while the rest of the keys are Blue... I wish the software was easier to use and I wish the lighting was brighter by 50% with the entire letter on each key lit.The roundup: The keyboard works well and seems of exceptional quality. The lighting stinks and the software to control the lighting is less than user-friendly.

Good
It’s a good keyboard! Some of the keys have faded, but I have had it for two years now so not bad

Finally a decent non mechanical keyboard
I realize mechanical is all the rage these days, but as someone who didn't grow up with it, and dual uses stuff for gaming and work i appreciate a quality option that is not mechanical, that was a huge requirement for me to get something. I also appreciate that while it has some RGB to it, it's not the typical unicorn vomit everyone else is offering. If you're an older gamer who wants something that works, but doesn't want your desk looking like it's straight out of fast and furious, this is fantastic.

Missing basic features and non-standard layout
UPDATE: Had to drop it to 1 star. Here are the other issues I've found since the old review:- The backlit keys are barely visible in the dark. Really gotta work the eyes to see the symbols on the keys.- The symbols on keys that require you to hold shift to type are all on the bottom of the key face instead of the standard way of putting them on the top. Seems minor, until you actually need to look at the keys and it throws off your muscle memory because, well, every keyboard I've ever seen has the shift symbols on the top of the key, not the bottom!- When I lock my windows 10 computer using the win key + L, the computer locks no problem. When I unlock it, the enter key becomes "stuck". It's not physically stuck, just acts as though I'm holding it down. Have to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in, or restart the computer to fix it. And restarting the computer can be tricky when the enter key is being spammed.- Synapse 3.0 is a garbage macro utility. It is not possible, at the time of this writing, to create a toggle macro. So, if you want to be able to press 1 button to turn on a macro, then press that same button to turn it back off, you're out of luck. Gotta bind two different keypresses. Think autorun. When you want to just click one button to start running, then click that button again to stop running, you can't. Not with Synapse 3.0.In the end, this is the most I've ever spent on a keyboard, and it's the worst keyboard I've ever used. Even my $20 wireless keybaord+mouse combo from logitec was better in pretty much every way, even for gaming.OLD REVIEW:I should have investigated the keyboard a little more before buying. There's a reason it's so cheap. It's missing a lot of basic keys that even my $10 junker keyboard has.- no standalone media keys (pause/play/skip/etc)- no standalone volume keys- no standalone macro keysMost of those missing standalone keys have a function key instead (hold the fn key then press the associated F# key).

It's a Hit (with Tweens)!
My 12 yo son loves this keyboard and Razer products generally. He likes the diff color lights, the way the keys pop off and he can wash them if needed, the feel of them, etc.
