Good size and weight/feel for kids (probably 4-5 & up) and adults (my husband and I both find them comfortable, and his hands are quite a bit larger than mine). I like the colors, as well, because they are quite visible without being ugly. Clear sound, no interference or static. The light is a nice touch, and it works even when the radios are off. Headphone jack is also a plus. The ability to "link" multiple radios & use on a variety of channels is great, too! Quick press the "talk" button to call other units, volume control is done right, with incremental changes rather than HUGE leaps like most "kid" walkies.Purchased for a birthday party gift for my nephew(s), who live in the city, as a means of communicating without cell phones while they play at their local parks, around their neighborhood, etc. I have since purchased 2 more sets. Haven't tested the 10 mile range claim, but I'd guess it comes close. They serve us well on our 64 acre property with no obstruction as well as in our small town and in a larger city.Overall, highly recommend these for anyone who is looking for a budget friendly, quality pair of walkies. Probably worth investing in some rechargeable AAAs, though they don't seem to go through batteries too quickly.

I was so excited to purchase these for my kids but ultimately I was disappointed. The sound quality was terrible, there was so much static that the voice couldn’t get through to the other Waltkie talkie. I would not recommend this product. I went with this because of the easy use of the buttons, the other brands I looked at had too many buttons, however, it may be a better option to go with the “more complicated” Waltkie talkie to get the quality.

Bought these for my grandkids -& love them! Over the years I’ve gotten walkies for my kids & now I’m buying for THEIR kids! These have the best sound quality I’ve ever seen in walkies that I’ve ever purchased. And they are NOT too pricy! The only problem is -I have 4 grands between 3 & 8 -and there aren’t enough walkie talkies for all of them! I will be ordering 2 more!

My granddaughters love them. I bought a second set for their parents because they live in the jungles of Hawaii (I live in a town in Hawaii) and they can still communicate while on different parts of the property, especially since cell phone service is spotty. The speakers are strong and clear.The product claims to have a radius of 10 miles. But look at the fine print. It states that the 10 miles is good in "unobstructed" places or "ideal" circumstances. In our hilly, rocky (lava) terrain, the workability is no where near 10 miles - probably no even a mile. But that's OK for us, because the intended area of coverage is just their private property.Lots of fun! The girls love them I'll probably get ANOTHER set for when they visit Grandma's house!

I purchased these Nerf Walkie Talkies for my grandson's birthday. He was here for the weekend, and didn't open them until he returned home, 3 hours away from me. He was so disappointed. Since he doesn't live near me, I can't return or exchange them as defective. I guess I should have had him try them out before he went back home.Lesson learned. ☹️
