UK PAINT - Shed and Fence Paint - 20L - Light Grey

We were desperate to paint the fences before our decking and grass got laid, I started with ronseal slate (right panel) and loved the colour took a good 2-3 coats but colour was lush. But due to lockdown I could not find any anywhere for less than £99 for 5 litres! But at the last minute I stumbled across this (the middle panel) I crossed all my fingers but no need it’s amazing! I will never go back to high street paint again. The colour is amazing so much better than the slate I thought I loved. Took to both dawn wood and smooth.This fence panel was already a orange odd colour (left panel). I painted straight over it and wow, only needed one coat, went on so beautifully and we are officially in love. I now have enough to paint all sides of my garden giving it a really lovely modern look.

Arrived within 2 days the colour is brilliant what I wanted and covered excellent.

Lovely thick paint (hardly any drips!) and excellent, easy application with brush over different (wooden) surfaces, some planed and already painted, other bare rough-cut timber; the previously painted wood, e.g. shed, used to be covered in Cuprinol ducksback paint which I hadn't been that impressed with and wasn't sure if this stuff would cover it but no problem AND only one coat required!); also painted over red/brown fencing again only one coat needed. The light grey I bought looks great, really sets off foliage. I suppose only time will tell if it weathers ok but I'm pretty confident in it. I only wish I'd seen this stuff before having used more well-known and much more expensive brands which seem to be less good quality and harder to use (ie. more coats required and then fade). Great container too with a metal fastener/clasp

Good coverage, not wateryEasy to apply

Easy to use and cleans easy, used a brush , roller and a paint sprayer as required, had to water it down for the sprayer, but a good product and delighted with the results, would buy again

We painted over Cedar red fence and I have to say I am really impressed with the coverage of this paint. Arrived much quicker than expected. I also really like the metal mechanical seal for the lid!

Arrived quickly and whilst maybe double the price of similar paint in B & Q (which I couldn't get) I only needed one coat of this stuff which is light grey going over dark brown so doubt the paint from elsewhere would have managed that. You can see how much I covered and still have around a 1/4 left in the tin. If you want a great finish and don't want to have to paint the entire fence a 2nd time get this stuff ! Use a roller for the panels !
