Fixed oil leak in 2006 Nissan Frontier 4.0 v6
This was a perfect fit on my 2006 Nissan Frontier 4.0 v6. Had an oil leak from the oil cooler. This gasket goes between the oil cooler and engine block. Simple install after removing all skid plates. No more oil leak

Perfect!
thought I had something really wrong with the truck. Didn't leak until it got cold out and then I saw oil. Realized it was this o ring gasket. And it was way easier to replace than I thought it would be. Just waited till my normal oil change and it might have added 10 minutes to the process.

Perfect fit and no more drips in the garage.
This was a perfect fit for my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder...no more oil leaking all over the skid plate. Easy to install one you get all the shields out of the way...have an oil pan ready! I did this w/o draining the oil first so it was a bit messy but not too bad.

Perfect fit!
The product was exactly what I needed and was correct part! . Gasket from an online parts store was not correct even though I gave the exact same information I used here for my vehicle. Fast service.

Have a pesky oil leak near your oil filter?
After trying to find a pesky leak near my oil filter I realized it wasn't coming from the filter but from the oil cooler the filter threads onto. Super easy fix, if you change your own oil. Take off filter (no need to drain oil pan if it's not oil change time but have a catch pan for what drops out of the filter and oil cooler), take a 23/23mm socket and remove the nut at the base of the bolt where you unthreaded your oil filter from, pull this bolt out and set it aside, pull the oil cooler forward and reach behind it, locate the orange gasket and replace it with this gasket. You'll notice this one is slightly thicker as well. Press the oil cooler back into its spot, and insert the bolt until hand tight. Take a torque wrench and tighten it down to 36/38ft-lbs and put your oil filter back on (on a new one).Oil leak gone, happy Nissan, happy owner, happy garage floor.

Very Satisfied-2006 Nissan Frontier SE
I was extremely nervous about ordering car parts on Amazon as you know there really was no evidence the part would fit my 2006 Nissan Frontier SE. I felt like I took a risk but it worked out great. Im glad the others showed pictures including the size difference which made me a bit nervous at first yet with Nissans history it made more sense to me that Nissan did not use the correct size seal in production of the vehicle and of course they do not take responsibility for these items. Anyway thank you everyone for your responses to my questions and so far no oil has leaked from the oil cooler adapter. Tip. Getting a torque wrench/ratchet will be very helpful in completing the job. I believe I set mine to 36 ft lbs of torque or 432 inchlbs (depends on your wrench/ratchet). This info took me forever to find so there ya go!
