The RUN Original is a moderate weight toe sock that provides the familiar weight of everyday performance socks. This not too thin, not too cushioned weight pairs well with all footwear and is the recommended sock for a first time Injinji experience.

I'm a believer...
My pinky and the toe next to it love each other so much that they can't help but rub together during any period of extended walking/running. After a full day of walking around the Coba ruins in Mexico, my toes were RUINED. The blisters were insane. After we got back from our honeymoon, we started hiking a lot. Same issue. I started doing some research and found these socks. I bought these ones and the taller, thicker, hiking socks. I wear these ones while I'm running or spending a day on my feet and the other ones to hike. They work GREAT. No blisters so far. Also, I'm totally one of those people who thought I'd hate everything about toe socks. I thought they'd be super uncomfortable. Not at all. Besides taking a bit longer to put on (think putting a glove on a child's hands), they are actually MORE comfortable than regular socks. I'm saving my money to make a big purchase and fill my drawer full of Injinji socks so that I never have to wear regular socks again.

Never have to tape my toes again
Best socks for trail running or running in general. Anybody that really puts in miles know when toes start rubbing together 10 miles into a run it going to suck. I will never have to tape my toes again. Love these socks.

Tight fit like a glove
Updated review.I am more positive about the product after much consideration.I tried it on. Its really tight. Not comfortable at first but I got used to it.It’s like using mittens all of your life then finally trying on close fitting gloves. It’s different but not bad. Takes awhile to get accustomed to.The main advantage to these socks is that they will offer better protection for your toes. I wish I had these for long walking tours. You can avoid or minimize blisters between the toes.It does take additional time to put them on so don’t expect it to be fast as other socks. But it’s worth the time if you have problems with toe blisters.I would like to try these in the next size up. Maybe it will be looser. Maybe it will be too much material.

Goodbye blisters. Sizing info at end of review.
I used to have blisters on both feet under my 'ring' & 'pinky' toe of each foot. Reading about the Injinji toe socks and how they helped many people I ordered a couple pair. I loved them! I could feel the difference in my poor toes. Soon the blisters went away. I wear the toe socks now every day and will not stop. Thank you for taking the pain away injinji! This pair was bought for me as a gift. The sizing seems to be an issue that the company does not cover well. I own several of these and so far seem to notice that any 'original' weight will not shrink after washing and drying. The 'lightweight ' will shrink quite a bit after washing and drying. For me this small bit of info really helped purchases. I have larger feet between 10.5 and 11 and have ordered both medium and large. The medium fit tight but not in an uncomfortable way. Large lightweight I like the best. Large original fit fine without being too loose or roomy. Personally I just like a little tighter than original even after laundering.

Well Made, Comfortable & Worth The Price
I've tried several different versions of the Injinji socks and been pleased with all of them. They are the best toe-socks out there. This is the first pair of this particular version (Run Original Weight) and I wanted to mention a minor thing I noticed. In the description, the socks are made of 100% spandex. When I received them, I noticed the package lists the materials as 29% CoolMax (polyester), 68% nylon and 3% Lycra. Compared to the Run 2.0 Lite Xtralife model (greater % of polyester) (Injinji 2.0 Men's Run Lightweight No Show Toesocks, Gray, Medium), they are definitely a heavier/thicker material blend. I wear US9/EU42 shoes and always buy the MED in Injinji. These "original weight" ones are a little bit larger (mostly length) than the lightweight Run 2.0 ones. The difference isn't so great as to be a problem, but it's noticeable and next time I may even try the SM size in this type. When running, I prefer the thinner, lighter ones and find that these heavier ones are more comfortable for hiking. Again, all that said, these are fantastic and I'd buy another pair without question. They are expensive but I've tried several of the cheaper multi-pack brands and ended up giving them away every time. The ones made with mostly cotton hold too much moister and have a sloppy fit that's uncomfortable. The Injinji socks are worth the price.

fancy socks
first of all, if you're not a picky lady, the Men's socks work just a good as ladies.they fit great. I wear size 9.5 shoe and buy the medium. I could probably stuff my foot into the small, but I like the mediums.the tab in the back is cushioned and doesn't slouch. it also prevents blistersThe color is a bit more turquoise blue than the picture shows, it is still nice though, I actually love itgreat weight to the socks as well. they arn't to thin that they'll wear away in a month, and they're not that thick that your feet will sweat and stink up the place on the daily

Goodbye blisters. Forever.
Using these socks felt like evolution. I've gone from cheap multi-pack socks to Darntough (nice, but the thick construction was overkill for me, and still got blisters), then to Smartwools (fantastic, but still get toe blisters). Enter: Injinji. I bought just one pair to try out on a backpacking trip and they were magical. Normally, my pinkie toes get blisters on the pads because they constantly get squished under my 4th toes. With these toe socks, I had not a single blister or any sign of blisters or hotspots developing after 4 days of hiking on rough terrain. I ended up using my one pair for most of the hard hiking and didn't even take them off for a couple days.If toe blisters are or have ever been a concern, buy these. Also, if you prefer waterproof shoes these are great because even when soaked with sweat, you really don't notice the gross squish between your toes. One small thing to note: they seemed to run a bit on the large side. For no show socks, they certainly showed when wearing low cut shoes. I'm an 8.5 and bought medium, so maybe I can get away with going with small. Just something o keep in mind.

Running socks
I wasn't sure about which size to order - Small/Medium/Large isn't very helpful with socks. I have size 9/9.5 feet and chose Large. According to the pack, Large is size 10-12. Tried them for the first time today and they take some getting used to - not least a couple of minutes to pull them on over uncooperative toes which aren't used to being separated from their neighbours!Ran for about 4-5 miles and they felt OK on the move, though walking back indoors afterwards it felt as though one of the little toes had rucked up slightly. However, I couldn't see any sign of that when I took off my shoes so it may just be that my feet aren't used to the different feel yet. The other thing is that (as others have commented) these socks do increase the overall width of your toes. My shoes are fairly roomy in the toebox, but if yours are snug already, you might find the socks make them rub. The lighter-weight version of these socks could be a better alternative in those circumstances, though I've no experience of those.Docking a star for the vague sizing, otherwise looking forward to putting in more miles with them.

Blister prevention at its finest and most convenient
You simply cant go wrong with Injinji socks. I have been using Injinji sock for a while now and have seen the back of all issues with blisters without messing around with strapping, plasters or Compeed. As each toe is wrapped up nicely there is no rub whatsoever on or between toes. This is the first pair on "No-Show" Injinji's I've brought and my one fear was laid to rest immediately - heel rubbing! The rim of the sock sits nice and low, but the heel tab is superb....... not only does it stop the upper of your shoe rubbing on your heel it's also handy for pulling your socks on too.Wearing toe socks takes a little getting used to and adapting as having material between each toe is a completely alien feel at first. But after running in these a couple of times you wont look back.A little bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny. I never thought it possible to get so excited by socks...... maybe I'm getting old - But I absolutely love these

Fit is snug at first
Bought these for my partner to go with the Vibrams I got him for Christmas. He's a 10.5 UK size so from what I could tell he should fit into the medium category. He said that at first these seemed to be far too small, however after wearing them for a little while around the house he took them out for a run with the vibrams and said they were spot on, they also made his vibrams fit more comfortably. We went out for a long walk across rough terrain and they held up well, also dried quickly when we went splashing through streams. Only reason they're not a five is due to the question over whether the sizing is right, but the weird fit could just be due to not being used to wearing toe socks

No more toe pain after long runs
My big toe and the next one (!) would rub and cause a lot of pain for any runs lasting more than 1 hr.I bought some toe foam (tubes of foam) to cut to size and slip onto my toes under regular running socks. Okay, but bot great.I bought these and I've worn these for marathons and never had a single issue. FAB-U-LOUS! I will never by anything but these.

Blister free running
I love these socks. Having always developed blisters on long runs I was not expecting these to be a complete solution. I was wrong. Since purchasing these regardless of the distance run, weather conditions or different styles of trainers worn I have not had even the slightest blister. Highly recommended.

Nice comfortable socks
Nice comfortable socks. I like the separated toes as it helps prevent blisters. Everyone asks me about them & I highly recommend them to all runners. I've run a good 10 miles in them and no problems whatsoever

Great socks with real benefits!
Toe socks are great. They completely stopped any blistering. Initially they feel weird, but you get used to it within about 5 minutes of activity. Absolutely solid solution. These are now my goto socks for sports activity.

Great for running and gym
love these socks! Bought them as I suffer with very painful corns on the inside of my toes. They prevent rubbing and give your toes space to spread out. Going to buy more!
