Decent flavor - slightly odd texture
We liked the flavor of the product. It isn't as strong of a flavor as when we have made homemade dulce de leche. If it is being mixed into something it still provides a nice additional flavor and sweetness.As a plain on its own spread my wife and I struggled to figure out what it was about the texture that we didnt love. It isnt as smooth and creamy as you would expect is the best example I can come up with. It isnt a bad texture, it is not grainy or crystalized sugar texture. Just not as smooth as you would expect from a carmel or dulce de leche.Overall, its a decent product. We will probably go back to just making our own dulce de leche over buying more though.

Tastes great
I’ve used this twice. Once for a cream cheese Caramel cake and I mixed it in with heavy whipping cream as a pancake topping. Both turned out great. It heats nicely and spreads nicely.
